wentworth river cruises - day cruises

A relaxing cruise down the Darling River to the junction with the Murray River and return. With views of the rivers, their banks and the wonderful bird life whilst enjoying a drink and food. Greg provided friendly banter and running commentary and Julia attended to our catering needs. We had a wonderful, peaceful trip with ample opportunities to photograph the scenery. A great relaxing experience.

I went on the Sunday lunch cruise. These people really know how to make your day enjoyable. The food was perfect (and yes - vegetarians catered for!) The hosts and crew were friendly, helpful and basically really know how to treat people! On top of all that the hosts entertained on the way back - and very talented musicians they are. This review may sound over the top but the value for money is exceptional $38 for great company, great food and great entertainment. The boat is 'wheelchair' friendly and the facilities are...well...excellent! There is a licenced bar and excellent coffee. So nice to happen on an experience like this. If you are staying anywhere in Sunraysia, it is well worth the trip over to Wentworth for the cruise. #wentworthnsw

Had an amazing experience, great food ( and they catered for vegetarians), wonderful scenery, fantastic crew and the Captain and his Wife were a delight, both as hosts and as entertainers. Loved every minute.. really enjoyed the whole experience. Will definitely do it again.

Absolutely fantastic. We went on the Wednesday Twilight River Cruise 6.30 - 8.30pm. Fish and Chip evening. We could not believe how good the fish and chips were and the cruise included was a mere $25 per head. We were staying at the Buronga Caravan Park at the time and they even had a bus to pick us up and drop us back home for an additional $10.00 p.p. return. Buronga is 32 Kilometres from Wentworth. Unbelievable value and a beautiful couple running the cruise.

Went on the evening cruise in January and it was just beautiful. Simple but perfect food - excellent fish and chips, and bar available for a glass of wine or a beer. Beautifully smooth, calm and serene cruise up and back on the Darling River - birds, river, sunset. Just gorgeous. Even fine live music for the last half hour. Thoroughly recommended. A glorious couple of hours on a wonderful river.
