One long road which reminded me of California! Lost of shops and several eating places. Winery there also. Not quite like I expected but passed an hour or so.

we went back after a couple of years and its still beautiful so much fun walking into all the little shops and just relaxing we were staying in broad beach and wanted to get to the gallery walk we did our research and found that southern cross tours will pick you up from your accommodation they get you up to the mountain you go to the new sky walk that would normally cost 20.00 per person that included in the cost of the trip. you can go to the glow worms i think that was 10.00 but thats extra. we didnt do that then you get dropped off in the gallery walk. you have 3hrs to your self. to wonder around you can go up to the brewery and cheese factory/shop which is located at the end of gallery walk rd its now called fortitude it was MT brewery. the bus driver tells you were he will meet you at 2.30 then he drops evry one back to their accommodation. its about 90.00 per head but that includes the sky walk of 20.00 its worth the vist.. the views are incredible take your camera.

I was here just browsing with some family members, The Gallery Walk on Mt. Tamborine is a very popular street known for its Novelty shops, Australian Arts and Crafts, Cafes and Art Galleries. But I would not spend to much time here as there is so much more to see and do around Mt. Tamborine area like the Skywalk, Glow Worm Caves. Hot air Ballooning, Walking tracks provided in six sections of Tambourine National Park that include Curtis Falls, Macdonald Rainforest, Cedar Creek Falls, Esme Park, Palm Grove and Witches Falls. Most walks are short and can be walked within a few hours or less depending on your level of fitness !!

Gallery Walk famous for many different novelty shops and surprises and one of these surprises is the Old Empire shop at 134 Long Road Mt Tamborine on entering you are greeted with a big hello from Tom the owner who`s knowledge of his shop will impress anyone on entering. Their is a warm friendliness that stay with you until leaving. The variety of Gifts Furniture, Tapestries, and Homewares needs a little time to look over at your own leisure. On a trip to Mt Tamborine do not miss this one.

The gallery walk is eclectic but honestly a little dated and sad. Our group did go on a hot summer's day during the week but many of the shops seemed to be little more than rooms filled with junk. The one highlight was the Fairy shop where each room has been filled with themed objects for purchase. While we didn't buy any more than a card it was lovely to look at.

If you've got a day you'd like to spend pottering through shops, browsing, shopping, eating and drinking, then Gallery Walk is great. Seeing it's all outdoor between each, just make sure the weather is good, cos if it's sweltering or raining, you will get caught.

Because Gallery walk is situated in Mount Tamborine, the weather was cool and nice even though I visited it in summer. This coupled with the relaxed atmosphere makes it a nice place to walk and shop. Shop owners are generally friendly and did not mind me just looking around without making any purchase. There are many shops that sells interesting and quirky items and if you have time to spare, you will enjoy discovering unique items. I enjoyed walking around Gallery walk although I did not buy anything. If you are tired, there are many cafes for you to rest. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

We visited here in the afternoon. Parked in a car park round the corner, it wasn't too busy in fact quite a few shops / cafés closed. Our stroll along gallery walk began with some quirky little shops, then we came across a replica Swiss chalet, complete with cuckoo clocks and German flags / souvenirs?? We then bumped into a lady carrying two babies in blankets, turned out to be dolls which looked really scary. Felt like we had stumbled into a horror movie. The winery on the street was charging 5 aud to taste their wine, so we didn't bother. The lady with the baby dolls kept popping up like she was stalking us! We found the supermarket but it stank of mothballs and the men in there looked a bit threatening so we left. Reminded us of Twin Peaks! Don't think well be back.

We walked both sides of Gallery walk and really enjoyed the ambience of the place. There was no rush anywhere, we were able to take out time and look at all the bits and pieces that attracted our attention. Well worth a visit but be prepared to buy a bit more than you thought you would when you started out. It was raining the day we went there but it was a lovely way to spend a wet afternoon.

I love wandering along Gallery Walk with the variety of shops and friendly staff !! There are great bargains to be had and shopping for Christmas is a dream, no crowds !! There is something for everyone and every taste, too easy have a shop, stop for a delicious lunch, then shop again !!! I like Bizarre Boutique for a great variety of clothes and decor gifts ...

I bought 2 very small chocolates and one medium sized chocolate, it cost me a whopping $10.50, one of them was called chilli bomb, the lady told me it had a kick at the end, I seriously couldn't taste any chilli at all, my partner ate the other half of it (smallest bit ever between 2) he doesn't like hot things and he couldn't taste it either, all 3 chocolates were extremely average, nothing special about them at all and I think you get better flavour from Cadbury chocolates without feeling really bad about getting ripped off $10.50, I think there was about 20-30grams of chocolate, I could've bought about a kilo of choc from coles and been happier with value and flavour! Don't bother buying, you'll be very disappointed as I was!

We stayed at Eagle Heights for 3 nights from Tues - Friday. We found a lot of the shops in Gallery Walk were closed or empty from when I visited a couple of years back. Some things were very over-priced. The eateries were all quite good. Had a baguette at Cafe Soop which was gigantic and value for money. I enjoyed every mouthful. Not many eateries opened at night - had to drive to Nth Tamborine but would have preferred to walk to Gallery Walk from our accommodation.

After a 50 or so minute scenic drive, we arrived at this quaint town which looked quite busy for a Saturday. Plenty of eateries, plenty of fudge/ icecream/art/hippie/ angel shops to browse through. There are so many cafes you dont know which one to settle on. We tried the Dutch barn and we loved every bite of it! All in all a lovely day out and something different away from the very expensive theme parks.
