The brewery was excellent! The history within the building, information and old collectables is amazing. The extent of the collection was much larger than I expected including several historic carriages. The cordial is made on site & is great, you can do a taste test and then buy a bottle or 2 to take home, the staff were very friendly and helpful

This place is always on our annual pilgrimage to Beechworth. My favourite is the lemon lime and bitters cordial. My partner's favourite is portello and sarsparella. Get plenty to take back for family and friends.

Our experience was quite different to the only previous reviewer of this place. We rushed in just a few minutes before closing time, conscious that other places in this town aren't particularly customer-focused, and were greeted very warmly indeed, given lots of attention with tasting, (bought quite a few bottles of their cordial too!). The museum cost only a voluntary gold coin donation so we didn't expect much, and the lady explained that the carriages were really just being stored on behalf of the National Trust. We enjoyed it and thought the dust added to the charm, but each to their own I guess! We were allowed to stay long beyond closing time as the staff tidied up. Recommended.

We were wandering down the main street of Beechworth when we saw a sign pointing to the Brewery and Carriage Museum. We wandered down to find the brewery. They have an interesting display on the history of the brewery which is accessed via a gold coin donation.Downstairs was the carriage museum. This consisted of some very dusty carriages.Once we returned upstairs we were ready to do some cordial tastings. Judging by the demeanor of the employee running the tastings this was an inconvenience that took her away from her computer. Friends that were with us purchased some of the cordial.They could do a little more with this place to make it a must see. Worth popping in if you have time and like cordial.
