I took so many photos here because it was so gorgeous and everything was so charmingly set out. Also bought some local cheeses and pate to have back at Mooltan House for evening drinks. Will visit it again for sure.

Hippy shop lady was helpful & nice. Great variety of food which was fresh, quality & delicious. Shop was unpretentious, interesting & well laid out.

Hepburn General Store has always been an excellent local store that manages to cater for locals and tourists. Local tradies are always seen sitting out front each lunch time munching on their generous rolls or pies. Arleene and Glen did a beautiful job for so many years, with Glen's laid back friendly country chat and Arleene's creative flair.Now that Kate has bought the business she is doing an amazing job as a one woman show with all her personal touches. She has kept on the same staff that Glen and Arleene had so the same warm smiles welcome you as you walk in. How they remember all our names is a mystery!The focaccia range is delicious...my favourite is the vegetarian with home made pesto and mushrooms. I love the retro cakes with coffee and walnut cake, fudge brownies and various other treats.Kate has reintroduced Hepburn Springs Mineral Water and drinks. My two favourites are the lemon, lime and bitters and the ginger beer.She also carries a range of greeting cards, gifts and groceries for emergencies to save you having to go all the way into Daylesford.I really love our General Store!
