This is one of my fave spots at GOR. I can imagine how the ships were crashed through this gorge. Waves and currents are super strong here. It is just a marvelous spot to take nice pictures. And i am amazed how the waves and currents sculpts the super strong rocks...just amazing
Great photo opportunities! All fenced off, very safe, great walking track. Fantastic Views! Breath taking, great carpark, easy to find. well kept and looked after.
The view was fantastic and it is just another great stop on the Great Ocean Road. Well worth the stop.
Seeing the waves coming and hit the rocks, it's breathtaking. It's may less popular than 12 apostles, but the lockout platform is quite close so you can have a very clear look of the Arch.
Just a lovely spot, dramatic scenery. Not as touristy as the other parts of this glorious road. Some elderly people may find it a little steep.
beautiful! all i can say is beautiful! more people need to visit here! hidden secrets on the other side of the 12 Apostles!
This is just off the highway and quite a short walk down a well maintained pathway to a really spectacular view. The path is a little steep in places but it is still an easy walk even if you are not that fit.The pathway and viewing areas are a credit to the National Parks.Put it on your must see list
Very accessible, offers a beautiful scenery. A must do west of Port Campbell town centre and on the way to the Grotto and Peterborough.
So many iconic views make the Great Ocean Road so appealing - the drive itself is wonderful but the stone formations like The Arch make it even more appealing
Be sure you check out all the views and beach access points - each is different, and the photo ops are infinite!
Watch for signs and stop at all these viewing posts of the Great Ocean Road. Parking is easy. The walks to viewpoints are easy. One thing I like about Australia's parks and viewing areas is the steps, fences and walkways are always designed to blend with nature.
On of many stunning natural stone formations along the great ocean road. Difficult to tell which is the most beautiful.
One of many stops along the Port Campbell National Park coastline. If on a limited tour then this would be one place not to miss. Compared to other lookouts along the Great Ocean Road, there were few stairs but a fair gradient.Take lots of water and your own food. A camera is a must.
Nature is so beautiful and amazing. Dont miss any of the tourist stops along the great ocean road, you wont be disappointed with all the amazing views.
The Great Ocean Road has lots of lovely vista points. And this is one of it....quite at the beginning (western end) of the Road. It's not as famous as the Bay of Islands and of course the Twelve Apostles. But it is a nice little place and is pretty amazing. I just stood there watching the water splashing through the Arch for a while. It's nice and quiet here....not many stop by here....even though it's clearly marked by a sign on the road. For best pics you should hold up you camera pretty high....it just looks better at a higher angle. So, if you drive on the GOR, be sure to check out the Arch.Wanna know more about me and my trips? Check my profile.
