national holden motor museum : echuca

Another must do for Echuca. The cars are just excellent and have the history to go with the exhibits makes it all the more interesting. It is a good trip down memory lane even the short film takes you back to some fun times. It is hard to believe Mum and Dad and us 6 kids travelling from Brisbane to Sydney on holidays in the old FJ.

we had a fantastic time looking around the Holden motor museum in Echuca, it wasn't too expensive and the cars looked fantastic, they change there cars often so we will defiantly be going back.

I myself didn't initially have much interest in visiting as i'm not terribly interested in old cars. My partner though loves old vehicles and convinced me to go. He loved this place. There are some lovely vehicles on display. Even I enjoyed myself, reading up on the stories of who'd donated vehicles to the museum and why etc. I definitely think it was worth the entry cost and i would recommend it to anyone interested in old vehicles in particular holden(obviously). I was also grateful to the gentlemen for allowing us to look around for so long. My boyfriend got a little caught up and we lost track of time. instead of kicking us out at closing time the male staff member allowed us to take our time and we didn't feel rushed. Very grateful for that, thank you :)

Touring the museum was great even with the DVD about some older models which brought back memories. Great little shop for all your Holden needs!!

A small but very informative display of cars ,beatifully restored cars .there is also a short video on Holden's ,worth a visit .

Watch the video then look round, it was good to see cars we had driven when younger and my grandson enjoyed it.

This was a great museum with all the Holden's history including a video presentation well worth seeing. The cars were fantastic and most in original condition. Well worth a visit.

This will be a great place to visit especially if you have any interest in Holdens. Very good display

This was the highlight of my trip to Echuca! Great museum, well organised, professionally run and maintained and run in a manner that enables people to get close to the cars, take pictures and enjoy the experience. A great collection of cars and memorabilia. It inspired us to get back into a couple of restoration projects we have that have been sitting idle for too long. A good collection of information on the cars too.

What a great display of Holdens from the old to the new. This is the second visit to this wonderful museum.

A must see even if you don't like Holdens. Warm friendly reception and our host was full of knowledge. Thankyou for the opportunity

I am not a car enthusiast but I didn't mind browsing. The hubby and the kids absolutely enjoyed the museum and the beautifully kept cars. Entry ticket is less than $30 for the family. Well worth it.Downside is that they didn't have a VL. there were hardly any Holden souvenirs to be purchased. If you are a Holden fan or just love cars, you'll like this place.

I found my visit to the National Holden Museum Fantastic! All car enthusiasts will certainly enjoy the vast array of exhibits such as cars and engines. I believe the National Holden Motor Museum is a must when visiting Echuca.

Great price, great affordable shop. Good to see photos are allowed. Friendly helpful service. Needs a Gemini in there.

Haven't been there for a few years so decided to go there again on a recent trip. Many fine examples of the early models as well as some more recent ones. My favourite is the HZ Sandman Panel Van.What I really liked were the examples of mock up & prototype cars; not something most people get to see. Good merchandise shop there to expand on your man cave memorabilia.Admission price is very reasonable & would recommend going there.
