Beautiful beach for sunsets and drinks, dog allowed which was also good. the waves did get a little strong so be careful with little kids
This is a perfect beach setting. There is some grassed area, playground for the kids, bricked paved walking areas, barbecue facilities, trees for shade. The shower area has some stunning artwork incorporated in it. The beach is a lovely semi circular bay so if affords a little cover if there are really strong winds. The foreshore is shallow then drops a little deeper then there is a higher sand shelf to stand on before you get to the surfing area. There are shops available to buy your ice cream too.
Popular with surfers, long sandy beach with marvellous views around the cove and inland. Some nice cafes tucked away near the beach. Great little park for a pic-nic (without sand)
Just back from a weeks holiday at Yallingup Caravan Park, the venue as great! Pity about the public beach and how dog owners ignore th signs indicating no dogs. The dogs are messing where kids are playing and are quite frankly a nuisance. Why have a dog free beach it it's not managed , only need to give a few infringements out and people will ensure they use te dog beach to run their dogs an where dogs can mess.Dissapointing hope City of Busselton takes some action as the beach will be eventually useless to familes and tourists who do not want dobs interfering with their holiday and beach experience.
Nice sheltered swimming area for the kids, as well as waves further along for the big kids. There is some shade up at the beach access, showers and a play ground. Watch the surfers do their thing.
and swimming in crystal clear waters - simply beautiful and battling to swim in the surf very invigorating. Great beach atmosphere!
Just pristine great walk about 2km long. Water so clear, great for surfers the day we were there great learn to surf wav
The water was ice cold but invigorating at Yallingup Shanna cafe best breakfast to warm up after the dip. Loved the Italian influence Vasse Felix a must for lunch.Empire guests are given special treatment ..
Liked swimming in the natural bay.Warm waterBeautiful settingSafe beach for families with small children, not so good for body surfing (hardly any waves)
Yallingup beach is stunning. Big ocean, wonderful views and quite large waves for swimming but excellent for bogie boards, surfing and beach fishing. Our children frolicked in the foam and enjoyed the rocks and the playground up the top of the hill. Worth a day trip. Stop at the local brewery also, worth a quick pint !
Yallingup Beach is suitable more for surfers not very child friendly as there are a lot of rocks in the water, beautifiul clean water though.
The sand is white and the the water is cold, clear and clean, the waves are fun and the atmosphere is uber-relaxed. There is a great shore break beach that can get pretty big but the beaches below the CVP have reef making little pockets of flat calm water.
I grew up swimming in the lagoon at Surfside so this is one of my favourite beaches in the world. Not a surfer, but they obviously love it there, beyond the lagoon theres a reef and then great surfing! Growing up we were never allowed to swim in the breaker area, too dangerous, people have died there. But, my husband and daughter love swimming there - be aware of your swimming abilities basically. Love what they have done to the playground and park area at the top of the stairs. Disappointed that the surfshop is no longer there, but they do have a cafe which is seasonal.
Clear water, clean white sand, great surf, backdropped by rugged coastline bush. One of the worlds best with few people and pristine.
Excellent beach with good facilities Rock pools, surf, snorkling, sand, playground and grassed area with benches and BBQ. some shade off the beach
