2.2km from car park to the Sky Walk along a beautful track. The track is uphill all the way with some rocky sections (and i think the hill has grown since my last visit). Take your time and enjoy the walk. It is a scramble over rocks to get to the ladder to access the amazing skywalk but so worth the trouble. The views are amzing and you can see all the way to the ocean on a good day. For people who dont like heights or are unable to access the ladder there is another lookout ramp to take in the views. There is a great picnic area with gazebos and free barbque at the car park. The skywalk is located in a national park so there is the park fee of $12.

The Porongurup National Park offers a good range of walks, as well as the newly installed "sky walk" glass/stainless steel walkway around Castle Rock. Nice Karri forest and views from the top.

Clear detailed walks which were both interesting and exhilarating. Met good people along the way and also a few kangaroos!

The climb can be tedious for some especially on a hot day. Make sure you wear non-slip shoes and bring lots of water. It's definitely worth it for people who likes hiking and rock climbing. The castle rock and the granite skywalk at the end of it is what makes it all worth while, because the view is amazing! The 7m vertical ladder and the skywalk at the castle rock is a lot of thrill and it makes your legs go rubbery if you look down. Great experience.

We did the trail up to Hayward's View, Nancy's Peak and back along the Wansborough Trail. Lots of different terrains; karri forest, mountain scrub, granite boulders and great views north to the Stirling Range and south towards Albany. Would be improved with a few more way markers as we lost the path twice along the ridge. Found our way back to the car park though!

Amazing views from the Sky Walk at the Porongurups. We did the walk to the top with 6-10 year old's who easily walked the distance.

Beautiful countryside, just out of Albany and very well signposted. The views are Magnificent and the walks are refreshing, would always visit when I am in the area because peaceful location but close to City of Albany or Mount Barker. New walkways are great addition.

We decided to stop by the Tree-in-the-Rock picnic area for a quick visit and then opted to continue on the Hayward Peak trail. This was a beautiful hike with lots of wildflowers and large karri and marri trees. We climbed to the top and this was a bit of a challenge with a 7 and 9 yr old. The trail didn't seem to be well marked at the top, so we decided to go back down. We met the park ranger on the way back down and he was very friendly and helpful. A great start to our first trip to the Albany area.

Not far from Mt Barker the park has camping an awesome vistas. The lookouts you can see for miles. We are here in late sept and the flies are a problem, tip is to pack a fly net

A fairly easy walk until you get to the top, the boulder scramble would be very tricky if you are not fit.. The ladder and skywalk are not for the faint hearted but the view was amazing

You have to climb about 400 metres elevation up a slope and some steps for 2.2 km. At the top is balancing rock, an amazing formation which defies gravity. Only a few steps further is an easy accessible lookout. The path to the Granite skywalk means you have to use hand and foot holds to work your way through the huge boulders. Then you come to the ladder, which if you suffer from vertigo, is a challenge. I pushed through it, and am so glad that I did. The elevated walkway is stunning and a feat to engineering and mountaineering. The views from the top are amazing. Return walk to carpark, just under 2 hours and 4.4km.

The huge granite boulders. Like the Devils Marbles but grey. The walk to Castle Rock was enough to get the blood flowing and the view was more than worth the climb. Incredible.

Spectacular views but very difficult to get to. You have a 2.2km walk up a steep track. Once at the top you have to climb through and up a rocky gap then climb up a steep ladder. You need to be relatively fit to make it up and you should have shoes with plenty of grip. Not recommended for the elderly. If taking toddlers take a harness so you can strap them to your body. Also carry water as it takes 1/2 an hour to 45mins to get up depending on fitness. Once at the top you can see magnificent views. Allow 2 hours to get up, see then get down. Getting down is a lot easier.

Panoramas were fabulous although it was a long walk to the skywalk way. Park fees applied. Good parking facilities.
