The Museum has some great historical stories and artefacts available for viewing. You can take your time walking around this small place.Only go if you have an interest in this type of thing
Visited mid-week, it was unattended and two of the four rooms were locked and inaccessible. Of the two we had access to, one was air-conditioned and had interesting stories, the second wasn't, very hot and humid (not good for the exhibits) and the lights were off, though we turned them on, Would have liked to see more, and wonder how well the exhibits will last.
Museum wasn't open on the three occasions we tried to visit, even though it was during the advertised opening hours. Even tried to call them but it just rang out.Pretty poor - and a bad experience for something which is supposed to be a tourist attraction.
Was just not what you expected and the staff were not that interested in talking, but otherwise did learn something.
Four rooms to this museum. There was no charge and it filled in 30-45 minutes. Museum needs a lot of work to make it more interesting.
If you have time to spare it is worth to pop in. You can learn about Samoan culture. Calculate with about !-2 hours. Entry is free.
I was excited when I realised there was a museum that I could further extend my knowledge of this beautiful country. I have been told lots of things but i wanted concrete evidences to cement my oral and aural experiences.I was a tad disappointed when there no tour guide present but I made the most of it.I was amazed at the artifacts on display!!! It took me right back in time...Even if you were not into history , this tour would have changed your mind.It was as if the timeline stood still to accommodate me on this trip. I thoroughly enjoyed myself .Make this a must see especially if you are a history buff!!!
