It's a bridge, some of the kids jump off it. It is the highest point in Majuro. But it is just a bridge.
This bridge is monumental simply as being the highest point above sea level in Majuro! After cruising around the flat island aside from the excessive airport speed bumps, this raise in elevation is almost refreshing. Jokes aside, it's a bridge.
Just a plain bridge really You drive over it comin from airportTop tips on marshal islandsThey use usdFew currency exchanges and bad ratesTaxis are 75 cent anywhere in majuro townThere is a hefty 20 usd airport departure rip off taxThings are fairly cheap hereSome good bars and nightlife but not hecticWorth a look
Surprised to see the bridge listed as one of the attractions. Its a small bridge, not the most beautiful or unique bridge, but it works. The questionnaire below asks whether this attraction has bathroom facilities. I leave that unanswered, the answer depends on the visitor:)
Ok, it's only a bridge but it is the highest point on the islands. When I ride my bike I always like to stop on the top and have a rest and enjoy the views. Think I might want to jump in someday but will need some boat support.
It's a bridge. As desperate as one can get for entertainment on Majuro, this isn't going to cut it. If you've been to Majuro you'll know that this has to be a joke -- if you haven't been to Majuro, you'll cross this bridge on your way 'downtown.' It's very useful for not getting wet on your way to/from the airport. If you find it exciting, just wait until you see the windmill, er, wind turbine, outside of Tide Table!
It was really just a bridge. Because it is an island and very flat the bridge is the highest point on the island.
it was built in 1980's through Japan's ODA project. This bridge has been also called "Nakasone bridge" after former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone.
This is the only one bridge in Majuro. There are no sight point and nothing special. You have to pass one the way to Airport.
i like to jump from the top to the ocean. We like to look down to the ocean and like to see many fish and animals under the bridge.
The bridge was remarkable as probably one of the most sophisticated items of infrastructure on the island. It never failed to serve it's purpose.
The bridge is the highest spot on the island, if there is a big wave there is no were to run!
We had a great time fishing under the bridge with some local friends.
My husband surfed here when we were here on our sailboat. It was an okay break, but shallow - our friend cut up his back. One of the few places to surf in Majuro, I believe.
Buon luogo per fotografare per la posizione rialzata specie al sunset. Null'altro di che. L'unico comunque nell'isola.
