Arrived quite early so we had the place to ourselves. Good selection of beer including 4 BBC beers. Decent mixed drinks using house infused liquors. Certainly not authentic but a nice change of pace.

This place is amazing. They have great beer on tap, reasonably priced cocktail specials and delicious house cocktails. The fit-out is great - plenty of seats along the bar where you can watch the bartenders ply their craft and lots of separate seating, comfortable couches and and outdoor area. You can see the large jars of rum infusing with delicious fruits and spices behind the bar. The music is on point and the service is attentive. We chatted to one of the bartenders at the bar for a while, he was extremely friendly and knowledgable, even whipping up a 'Ginger Beer' concoction after I mentioned I hadn't one in ages. Lots of different spirits available at reasonable prices. Don't miss.

My boyfriend and I loved this cute bar! The drinks are strong, bartenders are super friendly, the music is on point - overall, a perfect place to have drinks while in Cartagena.

Read about this bar on Tripadvisor and saved it as an option for my friends and I to visit. Went on a Saturday night, got to the door a little after midnight. No lines but there was a cover to get in. Once inside, the venue is super cool. Bar display is eclectic. Music was lounging and the people were a mix of local and tourist. Definitely worth the visit while bar hopping in Cartagena.

They have a long list of infused rum in tropical fruits and improved versions of you famous classical one. I should say that after be there the first time you always wanna come back. They always have a live dj playing beats for you being in the most emblematic neighborhood of the city it's a must to do it. We love it

Its a nice a bit over-packed place but it has a nice terrace/patio in the back to smoke and get some space..music is good, plenty of drinks... a cold beer in the patio is a good idea. 10k COP for the entrance.

We went to El Laboratorio early on a Friday night. It's located in Getsamani barrio right on the main drag. This is an old part of the city that is experiencing a revitalization. Very cool atmosphere and mellow vibe while we were there. There was a DJ who was spinning some great electronica, people were dancing and just having a good time. The fruit/rum drinks we had were good but I can't remember which ones we tried. We will return!

I'm writing this review after having spent time in Medellin and Bogota, after leaving Caratagen. By far, El Laboratorio is the placed I loved hanging out at the most. It's free (!!), the music is oustanding, the decor is classy, the nieghbourhood is electric, the people are groovy, and the staff are wonderful. I don't know what other superlatives I could add. Everything worked amazingly well in this gem of a bar/club. Love it.

El laboratorio is a delight for your senses! The room is beautifully decorated, the music is classy and the cocktails and rum/shots are delicious. My girlfriend and I went in for one drink, but ended up staying for a long time sitting at the bar and chatting with the nice and welcoming bartenders and the two owners. The one owner is French and the other from Chicago, and it seems their bar has the best of the two places combined.

They offer a wide selection of tropical infused rums, I recommend the Tamarindo one in particular. Their house cocktails are great, and their mojitos fantastic. They also have some great beers on tap which is really rare in Cartagena; they offer Apóstol, Grolsch, BBC, and the typical Club Colombia and Aguila. The bartenders are extremely friendly and love what they do. They have great guest DJs that play house, techno, reggae and lounge music. The atmosphere is really chill and full of international people. It's a great spot to go watch soccer matches, they have a projector screen, I watch all the Colombia games there. I highly recommend this spot and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do

Its my favorite hangout spot in cartagena for 4 reasons. 1) The Best Cocktails in town2) The cheapest cocktails in town3) The best evironment, good music, good people, and excellent service (no waiting for your drinks)4) The prettiest girls in CartagenaI also think the bartenders are super cool and friendly. They speak english and will help you out with anything you need if youre travelling through Cartagena. YOU HAVE TO GO!

What a place! Very good cocktails and a happy hour two for one that lasts from 6-10! Excellent. Couple the cheap excellent Mojitos with the decent music and very cool decor. This is the bar for me

This was our first stop after unloading our bags in Columbia. Around 9:00PM the streets were lit, people were starting to come out, and this place won us over with the old world charm and amazing fruit infused rum cocktails. Sit in one of the main room seats, drunk rum cocktails and people watch. At $6 US per drink you can easily spend all night here.

Colonial-chic styling, beautifully balanced cocktails and a great electro-house night on the Wednesday. Rivals NYC and LDN for the music, unmatched in Carta and possibly Colombia. This is the bar in Colombia right now.
