very nice mosque, very welcoming people, I was really astonish to find this mosque in a such remote area. they give you lot of information regarding Islam. it was very nice to pray there. very interesting for non Muslim people.
It is all in white colour and has 2 nice Manarites and large size dome . Inside it was very nit and clean and all people welcome you.
The Mosque is one of those placês you go, take a picture and head off. Is a very nice building indeed and the staff are kind and helpful. i am not very into religious tourism so I had nothing to ask or any doubt the religion but i am sure that if I had the staff would be glad to help (yes, they are reaaaaly kind). Unless you follow that religion or are into Muslim culture, it's a place you could pass by if you have time left.
The mosque is nice, but there is not much too it. When I went there much of it was closed (except the main hall), so there could be more to it, but I didn't experience it. It's worth a look. A nice place to spend 5-10 minutes.
We were really surprised, that in this city, in this country, there exists so large mosque! We had no problem to get inside (it is quite new, nice and traditional mosque), take pictures and talk to one of the administrators, which answer our questions in english. Interesting experience.
this place has a very restricted time to visit, at morning is 9 to 11:30 and if u don´t make it forget it bcs it will be a very rude old man who almost close the door on your face
The first people to arrive in Foz left their mark: the libaneses. Located in the islamic neighborhood of Foz, the mosque is small but imponent.
we went to this mosque on the friday while the muslim were having the friday prayer. very beautiful mosque with tall minarets. I thought I was in a muslim country for a moment.
Beautiful piece of architecture, very different from what I have seen in other countries. A place for peace.
It is not common to visit a mosque on the inside. The people are very friendly and give you the information about islam and let you visit the mosque.
If you have the time, get the local bus out to this mosque. No-one was there but the little security guy was so excited we had chosen to visit & was so stunned we wanted to see inside he happily agreed. Its very simple & beautiful. & costs about 5real on the bus to get there!
