Bands playing and children dancing. Nice restaurants at the edges. Pleasant place to sit in the sunshine and watch the world go by. Better in the Summer, rather cold and deserted in february.

City Garden Park is a lovely little park in downtown Odessa. Its great for people watching anytime.... on Sunday afternoons, part of the Odessa Symphony (sort of like the Boston Pops) plays in the Bandstand - everything from classics to show tunes to dance music - a crowd of regular locals dance to just about everything they play. Great fun! In the evenings, a fountain "dances" to music illuminated by changing colored lights - magical! Many good restaurants and bars aound the park, too.

There is a bandstand. there are roses. There are families and there are young couples. There is a good beer garden. It is pleasant and relaxing.

Perfect, small, nice place, to stop and rest for a while, flowers and trees around, concerts and dances ))

Very nice park with a lot of benches you can sit and enjoy the fresh air. It has always been a bit crowded every time I have walked through during the day. Ukrainians love the parks, it is good to see. There are always a lot of children running around which is good to see also.

There's not much to see threre, but it could be a nice place to take a break in the middle of the day. Also there are usually some public events at summer evenings which could be quite interesting.

Located just off the 'City Garden' it is named after, this a trendy restaurant serving a good selection of dishes. It is popular with the younger element and has multiple flat screens showing music videos whilst unrelated music is played on the music system. Good lively atmosphere and Good quality, reasonably priced food.

Very pretty gardens with lots of benches to take in the views of the greenery and building which surround the area. Not much to do here but worth a visit.

Beautiful central fountain, plenty of benches and lots of kids playing, smack in centre. Bring a book and read in the sun and then visit a cafe or restaurant.

growing up in the beautiful city with so many attractive places the best summer memories I have of this park with its concerts in the theater, performances by military orchestra in its center, benches that allow relaxation, movie theater and its restaurant, and not to mention its statues (unfortunately the lions of my childhood are gone), and I can't forget the fountain with its changing colors at night accompanied by music.

City garden is located at the Deribasovska's top part, next to Preobrazhenska street and is also accessible from Lanzheronivska. Its a small park with big trees, fountain and pavilion to hide from rain or for band to play during sunday evenings. Its full with kids, some enjoying first steps, some trying to ride bicycles and elderly are enjoying the sun or shadow, depending of season on the benches.Number of the good restaurants is encircling the park - Klara Bara, Franzol, Beer Garden, Jardin, Pecheskago, and Kumanets and Olio just few steps further - so one can easily find the cuisine of the choice. However it might be hard to find a table at busy day.Good to walk, to sit, to eat and have pictures. Especially with kids, at any season.

While it was generally wet when we visited Odessa there were still people using the Garden for relaxation, for photography or just enjoying themselves. At night when the restaurants are busy there were a lot of people there eating and enjoying the open air (though it was rather chilly). A nice place to relax and unwind
