OMG!!! what an amazing place, a cool and tranquil place away from the heat of the day, shakes were to die for, if you visit nessebar, you have to visit "michaels" totally unexpected. love it.
This bar is quite different from any other bar I have seen and it is definitely worth a visit ! Beside the views , I would recommend it for the atmosphere , the service and the drinks ! Anyone visiting Nessebar has to go and spend one hour there !
Visited through reccommendation of other hotel guests. Bit of a hard place to find but well worth hunting this place out. Really quirky and different idea for a bar. The rock formations and tiny waterfalls and pools make this place a relaxing interesting must see bar. I would have loved to have had my grandchildren with me on holiday to show them this place.
This is the quirkiest and most amazing bar I've ever visited It's known locally as the cave bar because that's what it's built in - a cave. You go down a few steps and the seats are on top of stalagmites and you're surrounded by stalactites. Amazing! It can be a bit claustrophobic but the top is open to the sky so go in the daytime if you think that could be a problem.
This is something totally different! You walk into another place to enjoy a nice drink and a beautiful scenery. The sitting is amazing, wide choice of beverages and drinks and quick service. It is popular place, so you may need to wait for a place but so worth waiting.I have been twice in 2 years and would recommend to anyone in Nessebar. The stalactite cave, little ponds and live turtles make this scenery breath-taking and it looks great both during the day and in the night.
Visited for a frappe. Really good fun and fab idea it feels like another world wish I could build one in my garden. Relaxing and worth a visit.
I had this down on my list of places to go after seeing other peoples write ups and photos. It was well worth the visit as it is something quite unique. And the cocktails are rather good as well!
ECO-Bar i det gamle Nessebar er virkelig et besøg værd, er blevet lavet som en drypstenshule virkelig fantasifuldt. Den skal opleves, kan ikke beskives med ord.ECO Bar in the Old Nessebar is really worth a visit has been made as a stalactite cave really imaginative. It must be experienced can not be described in words.
A lovely little heaven in the old town Nessebar. A very original idea too!If you are ever in Nessebar, don't miss to visit By Michael.
This place is like gate to another world. If you are walking on the busy streets of Nesebar, kind of tired of all people trying to sell you something, than probably you turn to some small and empty street. If you turn on Chan Asparuch st., you'll find this Michael's bar.In the begining it looks like cave. Even water is dropping from stalactites. Behind that cave another world begins. Peace and quiet garden with flowers, lagoons, creeks, waterfall and romantic hideaways. It was place where we used to hide ourself and rest with delicious cofee.Great memories! Thanks! :-)
it was amassing, very small bar but the interior was great, even the garden is wonderful i enjoyed the stay.
We visited the Eco bar on our recent visit to Bulgaria, while the cocktails we had were lovely, I'm not quite sure it was worth the time we spent trying to find it. If you happen to stumble upon it walking through Nessebar, then it's worth a visit.
We searched this place out after the reviews on here, and to be honest we were disappointed with what we found. It's a nice idea, but I really don't think it is that amazing, and I am not sure that it can call itself an eco-bar if the entire place is made from fibreglass??? There is a pool and waterfall with a mix of real and fake plants and there are terrapins in the water, but that really is it. The photos on here are all that you will see.We stayed for one drink, and left.
After some difficulty locating it, we eventually found the renowned Eco Bar which from the outside just looks like an unimposing bar front. It's quite an eye opener to walk through the door (watch your head) and be confronted with what looks like a cave with unusual rock formations. It's a little bit claustrophobic when you first enter and I found it a bit oppressive at first. I wouldn't want to sit in this confined area but it does open out to a more spacious area.We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food but as a tourist attraction with a difference I'd highly recommend it particularly for children who would love the turtles and the Flintstone interior!
Found the bar on our 2nd searching trip after being given instructions from staff at hotel.Go up main street until you come to a tower with a clock on it.Then take 2nd left and its down the street a bit on the left.Everyone who visited when we were there was amazed by it-could imagine it getting very busy-not many seats outside but worth hanging around until some come up.Seats inside feel like a waiting room for outside
