waterfalls canyon

Very beautiful waterfalls -small and big ones , a lot of stairs and climbing along the waterfalls , beautifull weuw and fresh air , a litle difficult climbing for pregnant woman , but posibble :)

Took me a while to work out where it starts from - plug the above coordinates into maps/satnavLittle cafe (more of a stall at the side of the road) near the start, and a very new visitor centre with toilets, but no cafe etc

Wow - I have only recently heard about the Canyon of Waterfalls near Smolyan. The canyon is an eco path opened in 2013, starting just 2-3 kms from Smolyan. It's a very easy path, takes about 3-4 hours to cover it all, but in a very very slow pace and with lots of stops for photos and enjoying the view. I must say, I was very surprised at how well the path is done, with so many signs directing you to the waterfalls, panoramic views, so many amazing views to the waterfalls..ahh.. just thinking of this makes me want to go back!Very very worth seeing, highly recommend to anyone coming to Pamporovo or Smolayn to see these waterfalls. 46 waterfalls in total, tens of well-made panoramic views to the beautiful Rodopi mountains, benches and places to have a picnic along the way, Kids can go too. Impressed!
