I travelled out to Vukovar with friends from Zagreb to pay my respects to those who suffered so much in 1991. The memorial is very moving and captures the horror of what happened here in November 1991. A valuable albeit very sad experience.

It is really dificult to review place such a this one!You must visit this place if You are around.It was short and sad visit, full of history and memories.Buy a candle and light along with others!!!

The memorial to about 260 people that were taken to the shed and later taken away and shot during that terrible war in 1991. It is quite dark inside, just like that day, and along the walls are photos of the victims , every few minutes alternate photos are illuminated. There is also a hole in the middle of the floor, were the names of the victims are projected. It really is very sad, and I had to put on my sunglasses to hide the tears.

This is a memorial to about 260 people brutally murdered during the 1991 war in Vukovar. It is in a dark shed, like the one where they were brought to that day, with photos of the persons. Every few second another group of photos can be seen. Also along the side of the building, on straw, are a few of their posessions. In the middle their names move in a circle. It really made me very sad and I had to put on my sunglasses to hide the tears.
