Highly recommended spot, little city Baden, where Tomas Mann went to gamble and gave good time. It is easy drive for 14 km from Wienna, you can stop in the megalomaniac shopping centre Suud Shopping city, recommended onn your way back. Or you might never get to Baden, see.Baden is located in the mountain range, by the casino which is said to have beautiful interior (didn't experience, were there in the morning with kids and the dog) is a perfectly walkable mountain with Alpine garden, well laid tracking routes and restaurant at the top. Go there, people, an awesome walk. Suitable for seniors and small children, as they can choose steep and less steep tracks, stay on one of the cosy and scenic benches, while more energetic members of the family can walk themselves soft, even go for serious hike to the closest peaks.Baden is filled with small coffee shops and restaurants, some are asaid to be good. We didn't experience any because of the Christmas holiday that is a sacred free time to all Austrians. So everything was closed and people just strolled around the petite town. And it should be so.

Had heard that there was not much to see in Baden in the winter, but the Casino (and Baden) itself is well worth it. We travelled by tram - right from the Opera Terminus in the Kartnerstrasse and were delivered right to the Josephplatz in the center of Baden, Great way to travel - cleap and virtually door to door. Great trip - with lots of sights along the way - total trip time just over an hour.The town itself is small - easily accessible and walkable - all in all a great option for an easy day trip from Vienna. We visited in winter so the Rose Garden had been prepared for winter - but we could see how beautiful this must be in the summer.Highly recommended, easy, relaxing day trip from Vienna - lots of pleasure for not a great cost.

Let´s start saying I am not a player, and I never felt attracted by casinos. However, I went to a party with a friend and I got very impressed by the place. The building is beautiful, and it was renovated a couple of years ago. There is a smoking and non smoking area, the drinks were at a normal price (which was a surprise) and they have a small menu (I didn't try it as I had dinner before), so eventually you get to eat something if you get hungry. With the entrance to the party I got a 5 EUR chip and I lucky, me I won, so I didn't need to pay any drinks for the whole night. they try a lot to make the Location "world like" and this includes many activities, like Fashion Shows. The place itself is big and exclusive, but only for Austria. You could never compare it with Casinos in the US. Food in the Restaurant is good value for the price

Went on a weekly tournament just to cool down from a hot summer day.Everybody was professional but not too tight.All ammenities are top notch. Really stylish.The outdoor bar and the colored fountains were also cool.

When I visited for this conference and was quite afraid how will I get some food which I would like, I had a pleasant surprise waiting for me. The Casino Baden's restaurant was serving Indian theme food not for that day or that week - for a whole month - two days every week for a whole month. I had samosas, paneer tikka, vegetable biryani, daal makhni, roti, naan, fabulous spread of dessets including gajar-ka halwa, gulab jamoon dipped in rasberry syrup, coconut barfi and authentic tasting kulfi... I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Nach 4 Besuchen ein Resumee: Im Hauptbereich wird gequalmt dass sich die Aschenbecher biegen. Das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäss, und wirkt abstoßend. Dazu passen leider auch besonders die leicht erkennbaren Dauerspieler: Sowohl sehr viele Menschen vor den Automaten als auch einige an den Roulettischen sind offenkundig beängstigend nahe mit dem Glücksspiel verbunden. Mich als jemanden, der nur etwas Unterhaltung sucht, schreckt das ab. Die Restaurant war schon immer eher das Highlight, das Package "Dinner & Casino" ist attraktiv, man bekommt wirklich feines Essen für ein sehr angemessens Entgelt. Ebenfalls ein Lob dem Casinopersonal, das sehr professionell wirkt und sich sehr freundlich gibt, und einem ein wenig "Casino Royal" Ambiente vermitteln kann.

Neben Schloss Klessheim sicherlich eines der schönsten Flagschiffe der Casinos-Austria Gruppe und wohl ohne Zweifel ein Hotspot im kulturellen Leben Badens.

Понравилось, что внутри все выглядит достойно. (Это было моим первым посещением казино вообще). Сервис супер вежливый, публика нарядная. Здание прелестной архитектуры, рядом фонтаны, сразу за казино начинается курпарк.
