The ultimate jungle gym. a paradise for kids (and parents). Bring your own food and cook out - they have BBQ areas. Beautiful property. Get there early
We, my family and I, cross this attraction park by a word from a hotel receptionist and she was right!!! The kids have a lot of fun. Different kind of attractions, many rest area for the parents, life animals to feed and play with, fun games for the adults to enjoy the visit. Just bring your food and a mat to sit on it and watch your kids having fun in one of their best time!!!P.S. Come early to enjoy as many attraction as you can!
Fantastic day children enjoyed themselves lots for them to see and do, farm animals, rides play ground with a water playground better then Disneyland Paris. Just needs more food places and variety of food.
In comparison to most other modern "adventure parks" Ketteler Hof is still one of those traditional ones where kids can still do things by themselves and don't just ride a roller coaster or stuff like this. There are different large slides, different climbing areas and towers, a small petting zoo and many great and funny things within the nature. If you plan to visit the Rhine or Ruhr region with your family/children, don't miss this park! Your kids will love it.
Reasonable price and lots to do for children. Plenty of rides, various age groups. Food service rather limited. All in all, a very good day out for the family.

This is one of the better family-oriented all fun amusement park. It is large, well managed, clean, and new (I think it is just 2 years old). There is plenty of parking slots just outside the park and for free. The admission fees are very reasonable for what this park offers. All family members can enjoy the various rides, slides and activities. There are designated picnic areas with plenty of shaded sitting areas. Even BBQ stands are available to be used. What I liked in this park, is the fact that kids (and also adults) can enjoy a lot of activitieswere they can use the water slides, climb ropes and feed goats and deers together. There are also a lot of creativity and things that kids can do physically which I thought was very educational and fun. If you visit on a hot day, you and your kids can enjoy the large water area with lots of water sprinklers. It would have been even better if they had more of these to cool off and also water shower to wash off before and after changing. They also did not have a designated change areas (so people just changed in the open space besides the water area or hid somewhere in the woods and walked down with their kids). The toilets (washrooms) were clean and tidy (as a hygiene obessive, I thought this was a major plus for a park like this one). There are also food/drinks outlets which were reasonably priced (I agree with other reviewers). If you carry loads of stuff you can rent a wagon for 3 euros (I think)! Of course, we visited on a weekday, so it was not so busy and we all had fun. All in all, this is a great attraction for all family and a must see if you're in and around Dusseldorf/Cologne area and it is a whole day activity, so I don't recommend adding another activity to the same day.
We ended up taking our kids here twice while visiting my brother in Germany. It was an hour drive but it was worth it! I wish we had something like this in the U.S. but there are reasons it would never happen. If you get here early you can rent out a wagon. We got a wagon the first time but not the second. You won't find a bunch of people here with strollers.First thing to note: This is not the U.S. and even though this is a water park...no one else is going to watch your kid. So if they get hurt and you don't see it...There aren't workers that work here walking around to help you. I saw about 3 people that worked here both times we went (and this is common in most fun type of parks in Germany)...The 1st was at the ticket booth, one at the food stand, and one lady cleaning the bathrooms...yes out of probably thousands and thousands of visitors that is all we saw. I thought it was great that the parents were expected to keep up with their kids...but also a learning experience too. Most of the water areas are sprinkler types but there is one area that looks rather deep. I lost track of my daughter and saw her in the area on a float thing. Scared me! The big bouncy wale blubber thing is amazing but you could get hurt on here. I saw some boys (german or from another country besides US) running and throwing themselves on younger girls they knew. Actually I thought oh it isn't just our US boys that do this! My son is still younger...so I am still learning. The 2nd time we went we went to the climbing area. Holy moly it was a climbers utopia. It was like spider webs of cables. There was so many things to do here that you almost can't fit it into one day. There is also a play area just for toddlers! How cool is that and it isn't small...it is HUGE.I am going to attach pictures and you will hopefully see how amazing this place was...SERIOUSLY I WAS IN AWE!! We visit my brother's fam every 2 years and I can promise you will be back here again!!!
My two boys (along with 2 girls who are their friends) had an amazing day here. A few rides, some animals, but mainly activities (several vast climbing adventure play areas, pulling across or punting on water ferries, slides and swings). My wife, 22 month old daughter and myself also had a good time.Couldn't recommend it higher if the weather is good. Can bring your own food and the locals were cooking on bbq sets that are provided. We bought hot dogs & drinks (mid-priced - not rip off theme park prices but still not great value).€10 entry was good value - especially compared to UK theme parks or the likes of Disney. Not sure of the min age but didn't pay for our youngest of course.
