A late 19th century steel railway bridge over the river Wupper, in the middle of wooded hills. A very nice area to make woodland and countryside or riverside walks. Taking the Solingen - Remscheid - Wuppertal train over the bridge provides you with a beautiful view of the Wupper valley.

If you happen to be in the neighbourhood of Solingen, make sure to not miss this classic steel railroad bridge! The architecture reminded us a bit of the Eiffel Tower, but ... without all those annoying herds of tourists. Very impressive and a very pleasant walk too, if you come by car.

First drafts for a bridge connecting the two cities of Remscheid and Solingen go back as far as 1889. There is a park with attractions for visitors. (Muengstener Bruecken Park).

It was really nice to be able to come and see such a dazzling example of architecture. Able to get some good pictures of the bridge here and if you walk around the park a bit, it's really fun. You can see quite a lot and stretch your legs too. If in the Solingen area, visit here. So worth the experience.

Most people who visit Wuppertal, Remscheid or Solingen don't even know that there's the highest steel railroad bridge of Germany nearby! Its a beautiful place and an almost 120 years old technical marvel within the pure nature. Its worth a visit, you can spend a whole day down there, seeing the bridge and experiencing the nature and the Wupper.

If you want to have a nice walk along the river Wupper its always a great choice to go there. Its the highest railway bridge in Germany. Around the bridge they have 2 cafes, 1 smitty andsome attractions for kids. Be sure its crowed on sunny days but walking along thevWupper is great. Give it a try!!!!

It used to be 'just' the highest railway bridge in Germany, but it has actually developed in a nicely modelled leisure spot with a park along the Wupper river, lots of beautiful walk-ways, snack bars and pure nature. The bridge crowns the valley majestically and anyone visiting the area must not miss the "Brueckenpark".

So relaxing, great views and surrondings. We are definetely coming back in summer. We guess we can eat in the tables outside, watching the views. In winter you can go inside the restaurant :) If you want a quiet plan to relax and talk this is a great place to go :)

Klasse!
