这是奥尔维托大教堂里、面向主祭坛时，位于左边最里面的一个礼拜堂，画满着有关圣经故事的壁画，祭坛左右摆着天使塑像。大教堂内有另外一个壁画不错的圣布里奇欧礼拜堂，可我个人认为此堂更为庄严，感觉是大教堂里最庄重的地方。看看英文介绍小册，果然，此礼拜堂里奉纳的是波锡那奇迹事件的圣体布，奥尔维托大教堂本身也就是为此圣体布而建。这样就可以理解那种庄严气氛。

This chapel houses the relic of the corporale, or cloth in which a priest holds a communion wafer, from the miraculous Mass at Bolsena. Most decoration is fourteenth century. The walls contain frescoes recounting the history of the relic and other miraculous masses. The stupendous silver, gold, and enamel reliquary is in a case, now at eye-level so you can see the fine workmanship. The site is very holy, and often the chapel is only open for prayer.

Get a guide to explain the significance of the intricate carvings on the exterior and you'll begin to appreciate this architectural gem. We didn't even go inside, but were fascinated as the stories brought it to light. Thank you Insight Vacations and our superb guide, Marco.

What a relief that we now have a scientific explanation for this embarrassing "miracle". The chapel remains a little gem. It is supposed to be a space in the Cathedral reserved for prayer and Mass is celebrated there on weekdays. Unfortunately it seems to be in fact a meeting place for local gossips. I was there one evening while the nuns were praying their Vespers - a tour guide marched in with her troops and gave a loud lecture. The Cathedral Authorities ought to take steps to enforce a holy silence in this place of prayer and devotion.

If you have a check list of relics that you are working on then I guess it is worth it. Fortunately it is part of the entry fee for seeing the Signorelli frescoes so take a peek.

オルヴィエートに来たならば、中心にあるドゥオモがすぐにわかると思います。外観はそれはすごい存在感でこのような場所にも重厚な教会があることに驚き、さすがイタリア。中に入るとまたすごいです。有料ですが、是非入って見てください。

La Cappella, che è all’interno del duomo, custodisce affreschi quattrocenteschi opera di Ugolino di Prette Ilario ed una bella tavola “La Madonna dei Raccomandati”. Da non dimenticare di ammirare il celebre reliquiario con il corporale macchiato di sangue secondo la leggenda colato da un’ostia durante una messa celebrata (a Bolsena) da un prete, scettico sul fenomeno della transustanziazione.Forse non è all’altezza della cappella Nuova (o di S. Brizio), ma è una delle perle del meraviglioso duomo cittadino

Volevamo visitarlo per poi andare alla Chiesa di Santa Cristina. I luoghi del miracolo Eucaristico sono da vedere

ドゥオーモの左翼廊の奥、つまりブリツィオ礼拝堂の対面にあります。ブリツィオで強烈な印象を受けた直後に入りましたのでやや感覚が麻痺した状態でした。だが、右側の壁面にある、シエナ派の画家、リッポ　メンミの板絵、「慈悲の聖母」は、期待にたがわず特出していました。天使たちに囲まれた聖母が衣を大きく開き信者たちを抱擁している様子は、まさに慈母の姿、感動しました。祭壇の左側にはシエナの金細工師の手による「聖遺物箱」が置かれ、そこには「ボルセーナの奇跡」、「キリスト受難の物語」等の図柄が金を豊富に使って施され、非常に美しいものでした。信仰心のあるものには視点や価値観が異なると思いながら眺めていました。なお、この礼拝堂はドゥオーモの入場料に含まれています。

Questa cappella è molto attraente al pari di quella di San Brizio ma con minore effetto scenografico. Viene rappresentato il miracolo di Bolsena. Bello il gotico "reliquiario" e particolare la Madonna dei Raccomandati.

Speculare alla celeberrima cappella di San briIo, con gli affreschi di Luca signorelli, questa costituisce il vero cuore del duomoGli affreschi sono trecenteschi, ini stile gotico internazionale, e di,grande valorePurtroppo non è' sempre visibile il reliquiario del corporAle (macchiato, secondo la tradizione, dal sangue uscito dall'ostia consacrata, tenuta da un sacerdote che non credeva nella transustanziazione). È' un autentica opera d'arte, idealmente rappresentata, su scala gigNtesca, dalla facciata del duomo

Situata nella parte sinistra del duomo, questa cappella salta subito all'occhio per gli stupendi affreschi che ne decorano le pareti. Da vedere.

La Cappella del Corporale si trova sulla sinistra del transetto del Duomo. Custodisce le reliquie del miracolo di Bolsena. E' tutta affrescata in ogni minimo particolare,poi sulla destra c'è un quadro "la Madonna dei raccomandati" che è un capolavoro.
