This boat trip is definitely worth doing. The caves are quite varied but mostly spectacular. Some are open caves, some have multiple entrances but all are fascinating. The boats go into the caves and you can see sea anemones in some. The stratification is quite beautiful.

40 of us arrived for the trip to find a glorified barge with 80 people already in it. There did not appear to be any lifejackets not were we told of any. If there had been an incident it would have been too late to do anything and the captain and crew only spoke Italian. We passed in and out caverns and were eventually taken to a pebble beach for a picnic. The submerged rocks in the water were too dangerous for swimming in safety.

Was very organized and we enjoyed so much about this trip of after day!I would suggest to do it! There are many companies but this was one of the best :)

What a fun jorney! Really beautiful scenes! The Captain is really good. He guides his big boat very well and also very nice, explaning the sites in a fun way. The only thing it really disturb the trip was the cigaretes... The Crew smoked All the time! What a pity, being in that paradise, beautiful nature, but breathing their smoke... So unhealthy... Specially to my kid, Who complained All the time. Come in guys, at least during work time, respect the passengers!

These views should not be missed! Spectacular caves and the view of Vieste from the sea is gorgeous! Amazing!!

A great way to spend the morning, and fun for the family. Even if you don't understand the captain's Italian commentary, the caves are pretty much self-explanatory. You get to stop for a swim at a pretty cliffside beach before returning to town. Wear a swimsuit under your clothes, wear flip flops, and bring a towel.

A lovely casual paced trip along the coastline to various caves. Great views of Vieste from the sea. Nice fast ride back again. Definitely worth it.

This was a fantastic trip along the coastline and into a number of the caves. It also provides fantastic views of Vieste from the sea. Try and get one of the back seats as you will have unlimited views to take photgraphs.

These places will never be the same after receiving hundreds or thousands tourists a day, every day, for the whole season

One of the most amazing boat trips I ever have done!The grottos were amazing but even more, the captain of the ship was a real expert of managing the ship where there sometimes just was inches between the walls and the ship. They depart 2 times a day and we selected the early route at 9 am.So if you're going to Vieste, do not miss this event!

Very cool to actually go into these caves, and the views of the coastline are gorgeous. We went on the Desiree, booked through our hotel, the Maresol.

The 2 1/2 hour boat ride along the coast brought us to many grottoes. Because of the mild weather and calm waters we were able to enter about 9 of them - each one more spectacular than the one before. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip.

Beautiful blue water, unusual rock formations, the boat went into 9 grottos, the approach to Vieste was dramatic and lovely.

This was part of our tour of Puglia and there were about 40 of us and perhaps a few other people too. There are about five boats doing this trip and we went on the one belonging to Marco and Franco. Marco collected us from our hotel and walked us through the town into the harbour and onto the boat which was piloted by his brother Franco. Franco took us along the coast and into a number of caves, about five. You can see from the pictures that it was a very tight squeeze and people had to bring their arms inside the boat but well worth it. Some of the caves had roofs but some had fallen in so it was light inside. It was also interesting to see the various rock formations apart from the caves. We had the advantage that our tour manager did the commentary in English. When it was time to return, Franco went out to sea about half a mile so that he could really open up the engines for a thrilling ride back.

A must-do addition to any trip to Vieste. The coastal grottos are amazing. Boat trips leave from the main harbour. All the boats are open and take about 100 people. There is a loo on board. The commentary on our boat was only in Italian.
