此城面积不大,可供参观的主要景点都在市中心, 自驾游不能开车进市中心,只能泊车在外围再走进去,但都算方便.食物和吃的方面则太捧了,值得推介.
The lighting isn't great in this church so you can't always see the detail (or perhaps we visited at a bad time of day) but the entire place is covered in painted details. It's beautiful!
An absolute must, but lighting conditions were somewhat insufficient - it is worth buying one of the documentations where architecture and paintings are explained in detail
This catherdral is covered for 100% with scenes and trompe l'oeuil. Build over centuries, may of the secenes have their own style. An amazing trip in art history.
This cathedral is incredibly beautyfull and painted by Corregio. It's pretty easy to get there and it is right next to bapristery and museum. This place is worth of visit and if possible, you should see also the crypt.
This cathedral was beautifully decorated with frescoes. We paid to light up the dome to see the famous frescoes there. When the lights went on people there said "wow".
We visited many cathedrals on our trip to Italy but this one was especially beautiful. We loved the detailed art work and took some great pictures here.
When you've visited many cathedrals in Italy you tend to become a little blasé and expect to find lovely artwork/statues inside. But the one in Parma totally blew us away with the stunning frescoes on the walls. Give yourself more time to visit than you expect!
Standing by the lions guarding the door look up to the reliefs around the frame, pick out the months by the super carvings. The interior is majestic and atmospheric. The colourful frescoes counterpoint the austere medieval charm of the structure. The dome, best seen from the top of the step either side of the altar shows Correggio as a master of the fresco.l
On the outside it's under reconstructions, it's even hard to take a photo, but inside- it's a completely different story. It's huge, covered with beautiful frescoes, some of them works of Parmigianino & Correggio( in the central cupola). There are stained glass windows, big paintings, statues & not to forget- the chapels: one more beautiful than the other.
The underlying medieval architecture is excellent, and the couple remaining chapels on the sides that have not been redone are especially beautiful. Like many large cathedrals in Italy there is a baroque overlay, with many chapels completely redone. However, the mix is less of a clash than many other places so the overall impact is quite nice. Worth a visit.
Wow, it is simply breathtaking the way the interior has been painted; so much detail. If you are in Parma this is a must see.
The interior of the Cattedrale is more Baroque than one could expect from outside. However, the place is very beautiful with some master pieces of Art
the most complete cathedral I have visited interior wise . fantastic murals main purpose was to see the assumption by Correggio.easy to find as its in the centre of Parma. just beware of the traffic restrictions in the city.
One of the more impressive churches in Italy, set on a beautiful square. A must to visit when in Parma.
