ventspils beach

Very clean. Very windy. Great place for families. Really enjoyed my 5 min walk (only because the wind was gelid on that day!). Looking forward to go back again!

Beach is really clean and it is long so if you want to stay away from other people just go further to the left side and soon you will feel like you are alone in the beach. It is also very close to Piejuras Kempings.

This beach is extremely clean with white sand and little pebbles. The water is also very clean. Overall it's a lovely beach to go to.

I live in Lithuania's seaside and we have plenty of beaches but it's always nice to come back to Ventspils. The city is full of flowers and free activities and the beach have activities as well. You can swim or enjoy the sun, but there is plenty to do on not so warm days - plenty of attractions for kids and adults, many sitting places, swinging hammocks, outdoor trainers. The parking is free in the city and you can park you car really near the beach.

Nice city beach, clean with good, spacy parking lot for cars. Former fishery ship "Azova" is on display neat the car parking place. Water in nice and clean, temprature is so good, like in Baltic sea can be. Defenetly recommend visit for swiming, sunbathe and rest. Some active recreation avalable too.

We haven't been impressed with the public beaches on the Baltic Sea, but this one was clean, not crowded with beverage vendors and had free restrooms! There were covered swings, play equipment for kids and beaches were designated for smoking and non-smoking. We'd like to return.

This is not what greeks call "nice sea"... The beach has sand and is big enough. There are not many things you may do in ventspils so go to that beach.

I love the playground and the park like atmosphere. Very beautiful. I am surprised that the beach is very quiet...not many people

A long, sandy beach, very well maintained. As far as the eye can se there is a long array of most inventive beach equipment.The main drawback is its proximity to the industrial port area. Not sure about water quality.

Visited Ventspils Beach last weekend. really very nice place. must visit if you are in Lativa. The town itself is very beautiful. Must visit.

playgrounds,shower. Convenient parking-free. Sandy beach. Cafe on the beach.Located near a comfortable camping. Surf zone there and nudist beach.

White sandy beach. Good attractions on the beach swings, climing frames. And the have showers and places to get changed. The beach is so clean and the water is as well and warm as well at the end of a hot day and there is also a bar the where u can buy drinks, ice cream, crisps, other light snacks. Its a 5-10 min walk to town centre and a 2 min walk from the water park which is also a not to miss place where to go. Surnas jacuzzi water slides. And the other end of the beach there is a peir you can walk down.

If tou will be blessed with good weather and, you are in Ventspils, you can not miss it! Love that beach!

During my visit to Ventspils beach we could hardly walk along it, because it was so windy!! However, we still loved it because the sea is wide and super clean, there are lots of facilities nearby and even kids amusements and changing areas on the beach itself. We did not dare to try swimming but I am sure its lovely if its not so windy and cold. Another great thing about the beach is the wooden walkways taking you to it has lots of buckthorn trees (try some of the sour berries, apparently they are good for you), and also has areas where you can just relax and sunbathe.Must visit if you're in Ventspils!

Great place for families with children! Lot of space, not crowded. Not far from city, good transport connection, easy to find parking place.
