Loved it here all the roses are beautiful and smell divine. Great place for sitting and relaxing. At night the water wall is spectacular
Myself and my partner were in Monaco for the week for business and we bought a daily buss pass and jumped on to go to the garden. I'm so glad we did. Take your camera! 180 different verities of roses. Sit relax watch the huge cliff in the back ground in this stunning garden. Great way to spend a couple hours (including getting there and back from central town) without costing an arm and a leg!
This is a beautiful garden with many kind of roses. If you have an hour I suggest you to visit this wonderful place.
Who would have thought a bunch of rose bushes along a hillside could be so beautiful? Incredible, beautiful and makes you want to grow a bunch of your own!The landscaping is so simple and yet it is majestic and spectacular. We visited in early July a little past their prime but there were so many blooms it was incredible. The garden is landscaped for maximum views of the overall garden, city and mountains. There are many places to sit and relax. It is set next to a public playground that includes a cement ping pong table!!! So practical! It is beautiful, a wonderful tribute to Princess Grace from her many friends and family left to mourn her.
I honestly thought the garden was a closed building containing the roses, but still the effect is impressive, even in the open air. Thousands of roses from all around the world, donated by famous florists and brands in order to celebrate princess Grace Kelly memory. I honestly found the statue not to be that similar to her, but that's a personal consideration.
The Princess Grace rose garden has undergone recent renovations and is now even better than ever. There is such a variety and profusion of colour, scent and blooms that there is something to see even after the peak blooming period. The new waterfeature is lovely as well and perfectly complements the structure.Go for a short break, a scented break before heading back into the Ferrari, Mercedes and Rolls Royce society.PS - don't bring the dog. Even on a lead.
This garden underwent a major renovation and it shows. The roses and the garden is amazing to walk through. The garden is divided into six sections depending on the roses. Worth planning to see it in full bloom in June.
I was told to go to this beautiful garden when in Monaco, but sadly it was closed for renovation's when we were there in August. Sorry I missed it.
Princess Grace Rose Garden was one of the main places I was looking forward to visiting while spending a day in Monaco. What a dissapointment! Only until i got there, I saw a big notice at the gates stating that it will be closed until June 2014. There was no word about it when talking to a staff member at Information centre or neither there was information about it in the brochure provided at the tourism office.
Princess Grace liked roses & flowers in general & the thought of a memorial garden is a nice idea. But the size & scope of the idea could be improved. All Monaco features suffer from over kill & tourism. The statue is worthy of discussions
What a lovely place to sit, relax and take some beautiful photos, well worth a visit. Very well maintained gardens. We have been there on two separate occaiosons.
This garden was created by Prince Rainier as a homage to Princess Grace after her death. The huge variety of roses is stunning and the best time to visit is May or June, depending on how early summer arrives. There are also sculptures. The gardens are kept immaculate and it's a lovely place to rest for a while.
This garden has a few roses and is a very quiet place. As others have said, it won't take you long to visit it, but if you follow the sign posts and walk there from Monte-Carlo, you will see many beautiful sculptures along the way, which were one of the highlights of our trip.
Peaceful refuge from the often noisy traffic of Monaco. Much smaller than I expected.
A lovely small rose garden to walk round - will take you about 4mins unless you look at every rose - but a relaxing little quiet spot
