This is a very special, sacred and ancient building dating back to 360 AD with later changes next to the cathedral when baptism was not done inside church buildings.It has some of the architectural features of Roman buildings, with painted walls done later. Some additions (apse and transept) were built in the 6th/7th centuries.Easy to find - follow the painted stripes from the old city centre near the church of Notre Dame la Grande, and admission fee quite modest. They sell some information inside and plenty on the web.
