A beautiful building, historic and ornately decorated with spectacular stained glass windows. A serene place of reflection.
Not spectacular architecturally but a wonderful art nouveau interior. If you think that you don't like modern stained glass, then open your mind to this - it is magnificent.Just off the Planty, a few minutes from the main square.
I had read about this church, and I have to say that you should definitely visit it and look at its unique artwork
wonderful, loved the stained glass windows and the flower painted walls. A truly atmospheric church well worth a visit.
We visited this Church as part of a walking tour. It is near the university and window dedicated to Pope John Paul 2. The interior is above the average we saw in Krakow and there was an amazing Nativity Scene still on display in late January.Entry is free and this is recommended above many of the others in the town.
Attended a wedding in this lovely old church. Serene and peaceful. Currently under renovation to make it spectacular.
Gorgeous art nouveau wallpapers, amazing stained glass. I could've spent hours in here. I sat quietly and listened to a service in one of the side chapels. BTW I'm not religious at all, but it's a great place to reflect.
off the beaten track but the little buggies will get you there in minutes . well worth a look see. we took some great fotos,
what can i say a historical gem its architecture and sculputures are beautiful and its ornate gold leafing is a sight to behold.
Unfortunately there was building work inside the church but it was worth a visit. Beautiful wall decorations. In a parallel room was a fantastic huge edifice of the Christmas story in Bethlehem. Quite stunningly beautiful. Only a short walk from the market square.
Wandered in to this Church after seeing a sign advertising their Nativity. The Nativity was beautiful, then we went into the main part of the church. All decorated for Christmas it was beautiful. In the late afternoon the church is very dimly lit, but the artwork was beautiful. Loved it!
The Polish churches, the majority (Catholic) are a mixture of Roman and Orthodox Catholic religious culture. For those who like are very beautiful places.
Access to the catacombs under the church was onlynavailable once a year on the day of All SInts where Cracovians would queue round the block all day for the priviledge.Amazing place to be seen when possible as entry has been eased up recently and to be respected.Filled me with awe.
Fantastic stained glass but the dim lighting stops you from seeing the magnificaent Gothic wall decorsation. Don't miss the Mater Dolorosa in a small side chapel opposite the entrance door. The Christmas crib was in place; not sure if it's beautiful or kitsch!
Yet another church in Krakow with a stunningly beautiful interior and with one of the most spectacular stained glass art work I have ever seen.
