ideal place for young kids to let off steam. plenty of different rides, swings, sandpits, and adventure challenges for young kids. been taking my young niece there since she was big enough to walk.
poor facilities which include the usual children's rides and equiptment and surrounding commercial enterprises are on the expensive side.
this park is fine if off season but when it comes into Easter /summer it is really not worth visiting far too busy and lot of older kids monopolising the swings etc
The play area is great for children but the area is great for all ages. Right on the sea front, there are great viewsacross the most magnificent sandy beach which stetches for miles. For horse riders, dog walkers and walkers, this area is safe and brilliant. The play park has lots of play apparatus and, again, safe. Extensive FREE parking right by the play park and beach. Oh yes, nice ice cream cabin. Walking distance to the town centre is about 15 minutes and fully flat. When the sun shines, you could be anywhere in the world! Of course, the area s packed with museums if weather inclement. You are in Rabbie Burns country.
Brilliant for children and adults alike. Plenty of parking and wonderful views to the Isle of Arran.
The weather, liked the sunshine but not the cold, didn' stop the children on the many attractions sited there or the many cornettoes being devoured
I have found this place a great entertainment that not only serve youngsters rather fulfil the curiosity and creation of children through out door accessories and indoor soft play area. Beach view is already there to give you a cool and calm mood. A Must Go Indeed!
Even in the cold days of November, we couldn't keep the kids from this park! We could have stayed here all day! This playground caters for all ages (even adults, with the outdoor gym equipment). I can imagine that in summer, this park would be a very very busy and popular one, especially with its beach front location. The toilet facilities were also very good here; cleaned and well stocked.
something for everyone, my children loved it, well worth a visit, hours of fun. There was an older section, younger section, water play, exercise, sand play.
Good size park plenty to do for all ages toilets right there & plenty snack shops around it perfect for dry day
Pretty much located along the town of Ayr, and, it could be considered an 'in-town- beech. Plenty of food and restroom facilities along the road separating the beach from the town.Even in July, the water was too cold for this Arizona boy.
Fab park! Little boy loved it! Right next to the sea front, lots to do for older kids and younger ones, our little boy didn't want to leave!
Found this place several years ago.good, safe and very clean beach opposite large excellent playpark.large slide wasn't open last couple of times due to needing repairs.no alcohol allowed in surrounding area now.good idea as this place gets very busy at times
Just a FREE fun place for little ones . Plenty of rides & nice seating areas. Liked the view of the Isle of Arran. Only dislike was a plague of sand flies on a warm sunny afternoon. Will return.
Fantastic park, so much fun for the kids. Extremely clean and tidy. We were very impressed. Free parking too which is unusual!
