We went in one sunday for lunch, not realising it had been took over, wouldnt waste our money and go back. The vegetables lacked, hardly any mash pototo, watery gravy. We Used to love going there. We wernt the only ones in the restaurant who said the same either.
Just called in for lunch for the first time since the previous landlord left.We had mince and dumplins and lasagneThe food was outstanding and the staff very friendly. Reasonably priced aswell.I think the its about time the brewery got their act together as the place is in urgent needs of a refurb but definately worth a revisit.
Went last night to try new menu as we used to go quite often food was good then, but even better now, going tonight as well really excellent value for money, can't wait for the refurbishment, from a happy neighbour☺
Quick service and lovely food..I had cheeseburger (homemade) which was very tasty, hubby got fish and chips but wished he'd ordered the burger after tasting mine, best chips I've tasted, it's getting a refurb soon which is good to hear as its beginning to look worn. Definatly be returning!
Had a Groupon voucher for here came for tea with my wife and 3 year old son. The food was fantastic best parmo I've had for ages chips were lush highly recommended will definitely be back
Had lunch here today, ordered Chicken a la Creme and Cajun Chicken. Both meals were very good and the accompanying chips were heaven sent.Good service, meal ready quite quickly but only 2 more diners in the pub.We had a Groupon voucher. But even without this the meal would have been excellent value. The pub is a little 'tired' and would benefit from an update.
Situated in the leafy enclave of Fairfield, Stockton-on-Tees, The Rimswell offers a comfortable and friendly welcome to both regulars and newcomers. As well as a fine selection of draught ales and competitively priced spirits, there is a regular round of live acts that fill the back room. The menu is well priced and the food is fresh. Steve and the rest of his staff are very attentive. Well worth a visit!
