Excellent burger with a good big meat patty, nice kassouffle (which is a Dutch thing), dressing and other stuff. Pairs nicely with any of the nice beers on their list (which is what one comes for)... Couldn't ask more from a random pick for an afternoon snack

Nice location, good snacks and good beer menu. I tried the Alles van de Tap, which consists of nine 20cl pf all the draught beer they have in the bar. Nice experience but I recommend to nibble something before, or you will end up a little bit tipsy..., definitely a good place to have drinks with friends or watch football matches!

Stopped in for dinner and had their staffburger and fries. This was the only restaurant so far that hand make their beef patties with 100% all beef instead of preform burgers with fillers.

Situated in a lovely little square falstaff has a great selection of (mostly Belgium) beers. Worth a look for some of the more obscure choices.

We visited here twice, once just for a pre-dinner drink and then the next day for lunch. The beer selection is mainly Belgian, i.e. high percentage, but there were some other options available. The staff were knowledgeable about the beer selection. The peanuts were roasted and were very tasty. I had the French onion soup and that was lovely.

My friends and I have been to Falstaff a few times and we've had no complaints, even on the busiest nights. But all it takes to make a crowd of people change their mind about a place like this is one instance of terrible service by one rude server who, for some reason, seemed like he was thoroughly annoyed by our presence. It was one of the slowest Saturday nights at Falstaff I'd seen so far given the rainy weather. A few of us who had missed out on ordering with the server the round before went up to the bar to order some drinks, and were told that they'd bring our drinks to our table. A while later, a server came by with our drinks, pushed them in our face and held them there, as he couldn't be bothered to set them down on our table as we dug our pockets for cash. The best part was the derisive comment, "Can your table order all your drinks at once so I don't have to keep coming to your table?" as he walked away. My friends and I were so taken aback by this attitude that we didn't know what to say. My group would like to sincerely apologize to this server and the establishment for wanting to order drinks from them in exchange for our money, and we won't be bothering you again.

Good selection of food/drinks at a very reasonable prices. We arrived on a Wednesday eve, so took the day special : The Royal Staffburger with fries, sauce and a deluxe salad, all for 8.50 euro.Food arrived very quickly and we were delighted to see the big portions.The burger was huge and tasty), with lots of fresh toppings, the fries were crispy and the salad was luxe indeed. Delicious!Couldn't finish it all but enjoyed the rest of the evening on the heated terrace, with cosy blankets and cushions to keep us warm.great evening, great food and good service! Will be back!

Located on one of the many 'back squares' in Maastricht Falstaff is primarily a student bar that provides excellent value for money.It's not 'boom-boom music', just that many of the customers are of student age. The costs are more than reasonable, especially for Maastricht and the very good food is geared to budgets - Falstaff does kleingerechten (light meals/snacks) such as omlettes, tostis (toasties) etc - all with side salads.My wife had difficulty finishing her mushroom omlette, the meal was that large, with bread and side salad.Well worth a stop for a snack or a few drinks.

You can't miss the Falstaff, great food and pint beer and nice staff! Highly recommended, instead of the market bars.

The Falstaff boasts a huge assortment of beers (350+). Staff are friendly and as it is located in the heart of the center it serves as a perfect place for an after work drink in the evening. Based at the St.Amors plein, it is also possible to sit outside.

Das Lokal liegt zwischen dem Zentralplatz und der Maas in einer Seitenstrasse an einem kleinen Platz. Das Untergeschoß ist relativ dunkel und vom Sauberkeitsgrad eher "studentisch", aber urig. Oben sitzt man auch gemütlich. Die Burger sind lecker. Die Biersorten sind sehr unterschiedlich und variantenreich. Insgesamt ein nettes, uriges Lokal in zentraler Lage.

Half uur gezeten en nog niets kunnen bestellen. Uiteindelijk besloten om op te staan en naar Pieke Potlood te gaan, wat wel een aanrader is.............................................................................

Het eten is erg lekker en het personeel is vriendelijk en snel. Boven heb je leuk uitzicht op het pleintje.
