We went when it was cold, so there was no one in sight; however, the beauty of this lake is captivating. The colors of the land, the birds chirping, nature overall is just gorgeous. Hope to be back for the fun.
The marina itself has a beautiful view of the lake. The only downside to the Marina is the cost of renting boats like pontoon boats. I would recommend visiting the marina but if you want to rent a pontoon boat I would recommend you use the marina at Lake Notley it is half the price.
My trip to Lake Blue Ridge was fantastic. This family owned marina provides great service and rentals that are top notch. The person calling them "thugs" should perhaps look in the mirror. I've been there more times than I can count over the years and they have never been anything but kind and courteous. I rented a pontoon and had no issues when I returned from my day on the lake. Lake Blue Ridge is nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains and has lots of coves to slide into for fishing. Go check them out!
What a great place to take our employees and their families. We have rented pontoons several times and have been completely satisfied with every rental. This place is beautiful, the staff is fabulous and the views are breathtaking. We will be back. Thanks for making our company outings a hit. Can't wait until our next visit.
I visit this Marina at least 6 times a year and am treated with courtesy and respect every time I visit. The rental prices are second to none and the staff bends over backwards to accommodate our every need. The boats are well maintained and the lake is gorgeous. Definitely a must see in North Georgia!
Google (beware of thugs at the blue ridge marina) this has happen to a lot of people and Shame on these thugs !
Last summer my family spent most of July and a good part of August on Lake Blue Ridge. I intended to write this review some time ago but time got away from me and I didn't get it done. Yesterday I went to the mailbox and much to my surprise I found a business card holder of mine that I had apparently lost in one of the rental boats I had used over the summer. With my card holder was a check for two hundred dollars with a note. One of the owner's grandsons had found my card holder while he was detailing the boat along with my "mad" money fearing my money would get lost in the mail they sent me a check. Based on how we were treated at the marina for nearly two months I can't say that this stunning display of honesty surprises me. This is a family operation that is focused on service. Folks if you get the chance visit Lake Blue Ridge Mariana the lodge type atmosphere of the main building is truly worth seeing. Take a few minutes to meet the owners Eve and Herb. These people are the epitome of what is right about business in our country. The boats in their rental fleet are top of the line and maintained impeccably. At 65 years young I've been a lot of places but I can't say I've ever been treated better.
Unless you are in the position to invest millions in a facility, boats, jet skis, insurance, and personnel maybe you should be considerate of those who do. I've seen countless boat returns at the Marina and never seen or heard anything like some of these reviews. It's a great place with absolute first class accommodations, proprietors and equipment, and it is a business and is run like one. It didn't become successful by running customers away, or ignoring abuses.
I am hesitant to reveal this secret for fear of crowds, but I will. Plan to take a jet ski out on the lake early in the day, at 8 or 9 am. The water is still, and all is quiet, save a lone fisherman or two. It's enough to make me yearn for a jet ski, to keep there waiting for the morning visits. It's divine.
