This trip was SO MUCH FUN! We were able to schedule the day before, and it was completely hassle free. Linc was really laid back and he even let us use some of his sunscreen when we forgot ours at home! Such a great time. Lake Chatuge is one of the prettiest places I've ever been and I can't wait to go back. Will definitely be using SWT again!

A group of 6 people ages 10 to 46, none of which had previous SUP experience.Our guide Linc was great in teaching us how it works. Like others mention, we were all up and paddling around happily within the first couple of minutes, enjoying the paddling and some great views of the lake. Honestly I did not think SUP would be such a great activity, but I will definitely try it again. Linc has shared with us some good pictures taken during the trip.And I wouldn't normally mention the midway snack, but this one was really special, with fresh fruits and soft cheese and crackers, beating our expectations by far. Linc carried it with him in a waterproof bag.I don't know what more he could have done for us. Well-deserved 5 stars, Sir!

I had never been stand up paddle boarding before but wanted to try it. I scheduled a time with Southern Water Trails and invited my family. All we had to do was show up. Linc, our instructor and guide took care of everything. He brought quality gear for us and was very knowledgeable in how to teach us (all first timers) what we needed to know. Linc was friendly and patient and made sure we all had a great time. At just the right time, he provided a tasty snack for us and then it was back to more fun. The scenery around Lake Chatuge was beautiful and the water temperature was perfect. Our whole family had a great time, loved the pictures he took and we will definitely join Southern Water Trails for more water adventures! Highly recommend!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Linc had the patience of a saint with our 8-year old who got a little frustrated and tired. We were all very comfortable with him and were standing up on the boards very quickly. Linc helped each of individually and made the trip lots of fun. Having snacks and water about halfway through was a nice touch. Haven't seen our pictures yet but can't wait to get them. Definitely would recommend this to everyone from newbies to experienced water sports enthusiasts.

SWT was fantastic. Took my friend and I out on the Tallulah Lake for our first SUP experience. It was incredible. Linc taught us proper stance and procedures and in minutes we were standing and paddlng away. We saw beautiful scenery, historic landmarks, waterfalls, and even stopped for a snack. Pictures were also provided from our excursion. Would definitely tour with them again. Highly recommend!

Had our 16 year old grandson visit for the week and booked this Stand Up Paddleboard Tour. He loved it and the guide was terrific! Not only did he do a great job with our grandson, but he also offered to meet us at a lake close to our home. The whole experience was about 3 hours long and included a snack as well!! Because of recent surgery, I was unable to participate and was disappointed because it looked so easy and great fun (BTW, I'm 65). Great job and now my grandson wants a paddleboard of his own! Highly Recommend It!!!

We had a great time learning to Paddle Board. i was concerned when Linc told us we would be gone for 3 to 4 hours but the time really flew by. We are family of 6 and had never been SUPing before. Linc had us up in just a couple of minutes and tooksus on a great tour. Linc's the type of guy that quickly becomes a part of your family as he gets to know each person and joins in the joking. By the time we got back we were trying tricks and splashing each other. it drizzled on us for most of the mornign but didn't take away from the fun.

You will not be disappointed with this Stand Up Paddleboard Tour. My husband and I and our two boys 9 & 13 from Florida enjoyed the short SUP lesson and then off we went! Imagine lake meets mountains! Amazing scenery, the water is clean, stopped and had a delicious snack and paddled, learned, laughed and made some great family memories. The owner and guide, Linc really knows the land, water, mountains and more...a wealth of information. We will return with more family and hope to go white water rafting as well.

My girlfriend surprised me with this over my birthday weekend. What a great time we had! Linc is an awesome guide and the lake was beautiful. I feel like it's a great activity that anyone should give a try. Lots of fun!

Beautiful tour on Lake Chatuge with an amazing guide and wonderful instruction. We had 6 kids from 2 different families with us from ages 10 to 16...everyone enjoyed themselves and can't wait to go back. But of course it must be with Lincoln. Our 12 yr old is even asking for a SUP board for thei birthday and I quote...."Linc, he's our man!" Could not have asked for a better first experience and tour guide.

Linc is an excellent guide and a lot of fun. He has been guiding various water sports for over 18 years. Even if you are not into SUP contact him for rafting, etc.

Everything about this was amazing!!!! Linc was so knowledgable about the area and such a good teacher! The scenery was gorgeous!! Will DEFINITELY be coming back!!!

My 13 year old niece and I had a wonderful trip on the lake. LInc was an informative and fun guide. What a fantastic way to spend the day in the mountains!

We thought we would give paddle boarding a try. Linc took us out on the lake and had us all paddling right away. Now we are hooked and will return to try paddling on the river. Linc is all about having fun on the water. An activity with Southern Water Trails is a "must do" when in the area or even a trigger to make the trip.
