Scenic drive so stop by Paige sprin winery. First time for Arizona was which turned out to be very good. Scenic setting where you can also have a light bite. Reasonably priced wines

Tetontails

Page Springs Road is a very leisurely drive along vineyards and farms. Enjoy the drive and stop at the small wineries to taste. Up The Creek is an excellent choice to grab a bite to eat along your way.

So peaceful. The beauty takes your breath away. Wish I could live there.I traveled with my 2 dogs from Overland Park, KS. A lovely trip, I was not prepared for the beauty of this area. There is nothing that I didn't like.

Page Springs Road is fifteen minutes from Sedona and one hour and six minutes from the Grand Canyon South Rim entrance. The small, historic valley, which rambles along the greenbelt of Oak Creek, is home to three Arizona wineries, a creek side restaurant and a fish hatchery that are all open to visitors.

Fresnan

There are three fledgling wineries in Page Springs Valley, just North of Sedona, Arizona. We visited all three in short order. The first, Javelina Leap, appears attractive albeit tiny by California standards. The gentleman who was offering the tasting was frankly rude and disinterested. We left without tasting. The next stop was Oak Creek Winery. We found their hospitality and several of their wines to be really very good. Particularly the Petite Verdot and Merlot. The Sirah was unimpressive as was the Savignon Blanc. The wines appeared modestly high in price compared to our expectations from California. Finally we stopped at Page Springs Winery. This was a larger winery with a pleasant but smallish tasting room. A sports car club had just arrived ahead of us. This group of twenty or more had overwhelmed the capacity of the staff, and they were not interested in talking to us. Once again we departed without tasting. All and all, Page Springs is a far cry from the style and polish of tasting in Calfornia or Oregon.
