red oak nature center

This is a wonderful place to take the family. We've taken our youngest son and now we take his daughter. She loves the animals and the different rooms devoted to nature. The staff is also very helpful. The nature trails and the cave are also favorites. The view of the Fox River is great. You can't go wrong with a visit to Red Oak Nature Center.

This center has been a favorite place of our family's since our kids were little, with its interactive nature center, its hiking trails, and just a generally pretty location. It really has something for everyone.

This small Nature Walk has a little building with some creatures from the area on display. It has a little walk path along the Fox River that leads you to one of the only Caves in the area--albeit is very small (20 feet deep) cave. Kids loved it.

This is a great place to take children of all ages. The most friendly staff, always glad to help you.

From toddlers to seniors, the Red Oaks Nature Center is a wonderful educational venue. There are rooms dedicated to plant science and animal habitat. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and they ALWAYS have time to answer questions. We visit regularly to see how things change through the seasons.

Our kids had so much fun and everyone was so nice. The nature center is very educational and fun. Kids loved seeing the different animals and playing with the materials. There is a cave at the nature center which is a 2 minute walk away. Beautiful views of the Fox River can also be seen.

We went with some friends to a class. The class was good, but the center and the outdoor trails and cave was beautiful!
