The Alma Mater is back after a major restoration. It is now in perfect condition and looks like it is brand new. The Alma Mater looks way better now than it did when I was at the U of I in the 1980's!

No need to say much. Come pay your respects to your Alma Mater! Statue has been renovated recently and look even more amazing. But remember, the statue is just an image of what the University of Illinois is to its alumni and student.

There's nothing too special about the Alma Mater. It's a statue... I mean, I guess you can take pictures here when you graduate.

Alma is being restored right now and should return to her pedestal next spring (2014). It will be a happy day when she returns to campus.

The University Alma Mater is a unique piece of sculpture located at one of the most highly trafficked area of campus. It has been photographed by many university student and has been subject of may pranks.
