What's great is it not huge but has amazing things and every where some vendors change which is nice. Standards are grass fed meat, many local farms with in season fruits and veggies, amazing bakeries, pastries, pretzels and breads. An outstanding gluten free bakery the gentleman who runs that is a culinary teacher at a college. Jewelry, clothes, household trinkets etc. you can purchase for your huge family or stroll and get a quick breakfast or lunch. You must check it out!

We love Saturdays because many times it includes going to the wonderful market. It has just about everything, and at reasonable prices. From flowers to cheese, from jewelry to honey--there is something for everyone.

Lot's of choices for prepared food and the makings of a meal, flowers and many types of other stuff. There is a crowd here for good reason, high quality and many choices.

Buy some coffee, browse the produce, buy some flowers, tip the musicians, enjoy the local art. It's a great way to start the weekend.

I wish there were a rating between fair and very good. This market is nice and has quite a bit of variety - I would rate it 'good' if there was such a category. It has fresh produce, overpriced but delicious bakery goods, and a nice selection of fresh flowers. I could do without the same old/same old craft booths here and there, but it is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

The market is something that my wife and I go to every Saturday morning. We love seeing all of the produce that is there to offer. My favorite is the used book stall that really has a great selection of books. We also love the kettle corn, doughnuts and other baked goods.

On Saturdays in the Fall, a trip to Wheaton, IL would not be complete unless you stop by the French Market, in the middle of the downtown business district. The market consists of an ecclectic blend of farm produce, meats, breads, clothing, books, cooking items, jewelry, and collectibles. There is much to look at and it is packed into a parking lot near the railroad tracks and station. Crowded is not a good description, but it is still a lot of fun to stop and look, taste, and buy many of the various things that are displyed by the vendors. This should be on your 'must stop' list when you travel to the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago!!

We enjoyed our walk through the market. I purchased a necklace bell pendant made from a silverware handle, and fork time. Very clever artistry. I also bought a nice roasted beet salad that had bleu cheese and walnuts on the side for lunch. Many friendly farmers and vendors. Even a wine tasting! Woo Hoo! Nice baked goods including croissants and breads. Worth the drive!

The French Market takes over a parking lot in downtown Wheaton every Saturday throughout the summer. They have jewelry, crafts, local produce, coffee, flowers, honey, scarves and bakery goods. Some of the fruits and vegetable are expensive - but compare prices and you will appreciate the quality, flavor & freshness. The smoothies at the Thai stand are just wonderful. It can get very crowded - I don't know why anyone would attempt to push a stroller thru the crown. Just go and enjoy the street musicians and people watching.

The Wheaton French Market is a great value. A lot of fresh produce from local growers so you know it is fresh. Great value for the price and always a great selection. Also, plenty of fresh baked goods and cheeses. We always take the kids and they enjoy it.

This market is cramped, extremely crowded with people, strollers and dogs. The farmers sell their produce is limited, but the market has plenty of different vendors with products from flowers, cosmetics, handy crafts to food. Not my ideal of a farmer's market, but worth a one time visit.

You will find fresh fruits and vegetables at the Wheaton Market held every Saturday morning from Spring thru the fall. There are vendors selling other things than just produce. Kitchen utensils, bakery items, coffee, cheese, flowers just to name a few. The market is located on Liberty St. ( just south of the RR tracks) between Main and Cross Streets.

All sorts of vendors here - my favorite produce is on the south east corner... Bread, jewelry, cheese, food, flowers. It is a great place - parking is available usually on the street - but also have a garage right there..The only complaint I have is it gets a very crowed in the aisles -dogs, strollers, husbands who don't know how to step out of the way when their wives stop to look at something!! If I am wandering - great -but sometimes I go with a purpose - and can be jammed..

Great homegrown dishes, vegetables, fruits and specialty crafts. Wonderful place to buy those unique and special things for your meal or home.

If you enjoy farmer's markets you will love the French Market. A bit different from most of the other local markets. Not a for those looking for a deal or a discount. Freshness and quality is the trade off that you just can't get at the big chain supermarkets.Overall a great way to get out on a Saturday morning, get a little exercise and fresh air and bring home some fresh veggie or fruit for the week ahead.
