whole body studio and spa

Located on the original Green Gables farm of Freeport, IL which housed Guernsey cows and sold fresh whipping cream and sour cream at one time, this spa is something for everyone to see. The outside looks like a white barn, the inside is a modernized spa with beautiful décor and a lovely glass wall. When arriving (if it is your first time there), follow the road towards the left and park in the additional parking lot. The Spa is located in the first barn on the right (East) when you first drive in the driveway.I have only been there for a massage, so can only comment on that service. They do offer hair services, kettlebell workouts, yoga, facials, manicures/pedicures, etc.The 60 minute, $60 therapeutic massage felt nice and was done professionally. She did a nice job of pressure point therapy which I personally enjoy.Some constructive criticism: I like the use of essential oils during massages and this was not offered. The massage table I was on was quite creaky and made unnecessary noise which was distracting to the relaxation of the massage. After the massage, I like to hear about any knots or areas of concern that they noticed during the massage (which was not discussed at all). All in all, I can see myself returning to Whole Body for another massage, but perhaps requesting a different massage table.
