Parked on the street here to visit statue and do some shopping. Very cute and has a nice historical feel to it.

The Lois Lane (Noel Neill) statue is located about two blocks from the Superman statue. The easiest way to find it is head the direction Superman is looking and you will find it on the right side of that street. Why does Lois have to stay a few blocks from Superman?

After visiting the super-sized Superman statue, walk a few blocks to visit his girlfriend, Lois Lane. This statue depicts Noel Neill as Lois from the 1950s' television show.

We took the short walk to see this statue. It was very nice and a cute place to take a couple of pictures. No superman stop is complete without Lois lane.

Although Lois Lane was a significant character in the Superman franchise, was a little disappointed in this statute.

I was so glad I had found out about this statue before our visit and knew I wanted to see it. Seeing Superman wouldn't be complete without seeing Lois Lane. I loved the detail of this. It's only a few blocks from Superman and worth the walk if you are a fan.

We just had to see the Lois Lane statue. It is very nice and looks just like the TV Lois. Located just two block from Superman.

She is they say 2 and a half blocks away some would count it 3 blocks, but she is about 6 foot tall and I only say this because I noticed different people are saying different heights of her. The person with me is right at 6 foot and they were about the same height. There is just a statue and a small sign to introduce her. This place is not as exciting as they try to make it sound.

A very nice, what I assume is bronze, life-size statue in a small plaza that honors Noel Neill for her many episodes of being Superman's gal. A nice stop for any Superman fan.

Ms. Neill is a lovely woman and we were there the day of her statue dedication. It's a nice place to grab photos too! I think it's taller than her :)

My 8 year old daughter loves Superman so we stopped by to visit the statue. The Superman experience would not be complete if you didnot locate Lois Lane statue. As you drive to the statue you get a great view of this small quite town. All the people in Metropolis area were very nice. I really enjoyed all of the views going through this small town.

Kids today may not know Noel Neill, the actress who played Lois Lane, in the 1950s Superman TV series. However, when it was decided to make a Lois Lane statue, to compliment the nearby Superman statue, it was Neill's version of Lois Lane that was chosen. This statue is located two blocks north of the Superman statue, in downtown Metropolis. Very fitting to me that it would be Neill's Lois Lane chosen. This makes the perfect compliment stop when visiting the Superman attractions in Metropolis.

Noel Neill, "The First Lady of Metropolis," was featured in more than 100 movies. You may remember her from the television series "The Adventures of Superman." As the Man of Steel arrived to rescue Lois Lane, she would say, "Gee, Superman, are we glad to see you!" Ms. Neill retired to Metropolis where her privacy is respected.The statue is located at 8th and Market streets in Metropolis; you can see the Superman statue by looking down Market street toward the courthouse.
