Whether you eat at their picnic tables by the Spring or at your campsite, the roasted chicken and BBQ were tasty and Very Cheap. It's an easy walk from the campground. The evening pontoon trip was lots of fun and worth every nickle.Employees had excellent good customer service skills and seemed to really enjoy showing off the river.

What a terrific find this place is for us! We are staying for a week in the campground and have eaten here every day. The barbecued ribs are the best as is the chicken and the prices are very reasonable.The setting is wonderful with the spring nearby and a deck with picnic tables to enjoy the food and watch activities in the Spring.We love the park but this place makes it extra special. Paul, the owner, is friendly and helpful. He rents canoes and kayaks and provides transportation to "put-ins" upriver.Anderson Outdoor Adventures is a place to visit and eat.

One of the owners, Paul, was super friendly and helpful with setting up a kayak tour of the Suwannee River. They are based at Manatee Springs State Park. His BBQ pork, at the park snack bar, was VERY GOOD.

Open 365 frim noon to 5 according to owner. Had their rack of ribs. Great food. Good service. Right next to the campgrounds. Will eat there again. Outdoor dining or carry out.

We didn't do any kayaking but we did eat at the concession at manatee springs and it is managed by andersons. It was barbeque cooked in a big smoker. The rib chicken combo was affordable and cane with a drink. It was yummy!!! While we were eating another couple from the area came up just to eat and said it was the best bbq in town.

We visited late In the afternoon just to take a look at the springs. The Ranger at the gate suggested that we try the barbecue if we had not eaten dinner. We are so glad. The food was delicious. The barbecue chicken is cooked in a smoker on site for four hours. It have that smoky flavor, was moist and tender. The barbecue pork was just as good with just the right amount of sauce. It was served on a steamy soft bun. We can't say enough about this great food and friendly owner. Stop by if you are in the area of Manatee Springs State Park. Believe it or not there is also free Wi-Fi.

Good trip on the lower Swanee river. Anderson's outdoor adventures has the consession for Fanning and Manatee Springs state parks in Florida. They provide among other things, Kayak and Canoe rental along with limited shuttle service along the lower Swanee river.We did a all day Kayak rental. The Kayaks were okay, noting great, but nothing bad. Seats were okay.Service was excellent and cost was okay.Worth your time and money to do business, you will will not be disappointed or feel ripped off.
