What a place to find a little unique something to take home, that will keep that great day at the beach in the forefront of your memory! Some great finds and not all at high gallery prices. "In want" of a metal sculpture of a mermaid? Can't live without a carving of that octopus? Well, this is the place to express your whimsical side after you've left those great beach restaurants and tiki bars on Santa Maria or Cortez.

I can't think of another place like the Sea Hagg. It is part shop, part museum, part "Pickers" paradise. I found several unusual pieces that I will convert to wearable objects! Some of the finds are slightly overpriced but, hey, no one is making anyone buy anything. Strolling throught the inside and outside takes a long time and is sheer enjoyment. I look forward to going back!

Maybe it's my inner sea hag or the wannabe mermaid in me, but I absolutely LOVE this place! I want to live there! I can imagine the pieces coming to life at night. Very eclectic and so many cool things...you can't see everything in one stop!I have read many reviews about how 'over priced' their things are...but it is considered an Antique shop, with VERY unique pieces not found ANYWHERE else. I saw a particular mermaid doll, stuffed, hand sewn...gorgeous and amazing. The sticker was around $300.00...but I have seen crappy, line made, plastic...made in China, dolls that are priced just as much and are in no way as COOL and unique as she was.So, depending on what you are searching for...some things were worth more than others, but everything there was cool.Patina, old wood, driftwood, rust, glass and mermaids galore...it is enchanting! I cannot wait to visit again! BTW, the place is full of priceless pieces and tight quarters...it is not kid friendly! Do yourself a favor and don't let small children run around unattended! There are too many things that could get broken, including your kid!

Interesting stuff and nice to look around but everything I saw was way overpriced. I bought a mermaid the same as they had there for half the price in NJ. Lot of the stuff you can find yourself online once you see it there. Tourist trap IMHO.

Cool place to look around but DON'T BUY anything! I bought a mermaid shelf for 119.99 and saw the same exact one an hour later at the Pearled Nautilus, a store at The Red Barn Flea market just down the road for 48.00!!!! I called the Sea Hagg and they SAID NO RETURN/EXCHANGE. I asked if the owner could make an exception and left my number...of course no call back. I am the president of a condo association and believe me I am spreading the word! That will definitely by my final sale!!! That's bad business.

Ok, so this place was fun to go into. But after looking for a while, it's just depressing how much overpriced the items are. I actually own some of the mermaids statues in this place, and at the very least, they are marked up 60-70% more than what you would pay elsewhere. Also wasn't greeted when we walked in. The lady behind the counter never even looked up. So I can't imagine the customer service would be too great. I wouldn't buy a single thing here.

Humorously over priced. However it is such a sight for sore eyes. All kinds of trinkets, jewelry, decor, soaps, statues etc. definitely worth stopping and taking a look around

Have passed this place many times, always thought it was someones home! Eventually got round to stopping and spent a lovely hour wandering around, just wish we had more room in the suitcases to take stuff home.

When we saw it, we had to stop...then a couple of hours later made our way back to the car!! Lots to see.

I've driven by this place a hundred times. Finally stopped. What a pleasant surprise. They have everything from antiques, jewelry, fragrances to maps, newer gift items. Lots to check out. Something for everyone.

if you like nautical themed decor then this is somewhere you have to visit. It's got a little bit of everything that you could think of being nautical. It's a bit pricey but worth a look around. The whole outside is just crammed full of odds and ends and statues ans even a mermaid car. It is really a neat place.
