Clean and lots of fun. There is skating and lesson also available. How fun to do this as a family. Together to spend quality time--- laughing and skating and snacking when you get tired. It is located right near the Ellenton Outlet Mall so you could do two things for fun. Skate and Shop! Or some of you skate and others shop. That might even be better. Lots to do in the area and see. Skate rental, of course, is available. Even if you just go to watch everyone having fun or it real interesting to take in the ice hockey in progress. Wear a little light wear sweater or extra shirt...little chilly.

This place has fallen so out of grace that the need for maintenance is very eminent. The whole place smells sour, ripped walls, all need to be fixed, among other things.

My kids are are 10 and 13 yrs. old, they go almost daily! The music, games and of course friendly staff make it a better place for a family to hang out.... And they always have specials which is important for a family on a budget, Monday nights is cheap skate thru the summer...$9 which includes skate rental. They have a shop which you can purchase skates there, and of course I got suckered into that, but in the end for $56.00 I saved money on the $4 skate rental. I would recommend ellenton ice for everyone, and yes I skate too and love every minute of it:)I have to say...Tracy is amazing and always takes care us... The facility has 4 ice rinks that are available for parties, hockey, and figure skating. The rinks are kept in well order, and have a nice refreshment stand inside.
