While the pier is no longer free to walk along, it provides a beautiful view east on the Atlantic Ocean. It's a nice walk but just as nice is simply walking along the Lake Worth Beach, which is free.

It is nice to go out on the pier after a day on the beach or after getting a quick snack at one of the restaurants on the beach. On a good day you could see big fish swimming below you.

The fishing pier was fairly busy with plenty of activity in the water. Folks were swimming at Lake Worth Beach not far away, while fishermen were enjoying different catches. We could see some interesting types of fish and most everybody that wanted to fish could count on some kind of positive results.
