The course has come along way from the past. it is in good shape and sporty. There are changes going on with construction of a few holes but for the better. The people working there are very professional and give good service and attention to their customers. Michelle is always pleasant and caring as a server. Yje food is very good and there is a variety in the menu.
This course has had it problems in the past. Last Time I played it took us 5 different carts to make it for 18 holes. They are suppose to be re-doing their greens and also suppose to have a new cart fleet. Other that these problems, it is a beautiful place with its share of wildlife, turkeys and deer.
For the money, I don't know of a better course. This course gets my best value golf corse in Orlando. The low price is due to number 10 being shortened, which I didn't mind. Unfortunately I had left my wallet with $60 cash and 4 gift cards in my cart. I called them the next day and they said nobody had turned it in. I have it another day and called them again and the cart guy had turned it in without taking a single thing out of it. I can't thank this course for a better experience.
Food is not bad nothing special changes hands a lot controlled by equity members of the neighborhood who cant seem to get the whole private golf club thing down. Very exclusive course but narrow and swampy running in to equity owners on the course if you are a woman can be challenging and if you play a little slow get out of the way
While in Orlando on our golf vacation we decided to visit Alaqua CC. I must say with no players in front of us to hold us up it was the longest round of golf I have played all year. Playing Alaqua was like playing golf inside of a wild life preserve. We could not decide if we wanted to play golf or just drive around enjoying the views and wildlife. I never played a golf course with so many animals it was amazing and the golf course is a great layout. A must for us anytime we return to orlando.
Very challenging golf course with water, sand dogleggs and carries to the green.Found employees friendly and made you feel welcomed.
alaqua is a very good but hard course to play .fairways good. greens very good.lots of hazards to avoid but very playable. Made to feel welcome on arrival and costed fairly. only problem is that the clubhouse closed at 3pm. other than that highly recomended
