This club has it all. four trap fields including wobble trap,three skeet fields,and five stand. They also have two sporting clays courses. One is for the beginner to intermediate shooter the red course is for the more experienced shooter.They offer ammunition ,gun rentals ,Golf cart rental and a full pro shop. There are also fully licensed and insured instructors available for various fees. The club also hosts corporate events and does a great job with cheratable events as well. From December to May they host a Scholastic Clays youth team.Its truly all you could want in a shotgun club.

I've been coming to Sarasota Trap Skeet and Clays for quite a few years. While there are several sporting clays operations within two hours of my home, I consider this my home club. It is very welcoming and the facilities are just right. While I don't shoot trap at all and very little skeet, the five stand and sporting clays always call to me.For as nice as the facility is now, they are acting on a plan to expand their offerings with more clays capacity. It sounds like it will be able to handle the largest of tournaments. I look forward to it.

I Clay pigeon shoot and this place is FANTASTIC.I am from the UK and used to shoot most weekends DTL (down the line) ABT ( automatic ball trap) and Skeet and some Sporting.Here in the US ABT is called Wobble lol ..... Great name and DTL is trap. Anyhoo what this place provides is a quality venue for ALL disciplines. Wobble, Trap and Sporting.There are people there to help you if you've not shot before and also if you HAVE shot before can help and advise you if you are going through a period of not being able to hit a Barn door at 20 yds. Lol as I was when I went for the first time. I hadn't shot for 3 years had a new shotgun (always a tricky one!) and was COMPLETELY out of practice.You can rent a Shotgun For $10 a day and they sell ammunition at reasonable rates.So if you HAVE shot before or even if you haven't, it's a great way to spend a couple of hours.They have event there regularly and these are worth attending as you see a great range of shooting skills displayed on all levels and disciplines and they often sell burgers and barbecue on those days. (not on other days though).My son on a visit from the UK and his 2 friends had a GREAT few hours there and really enjoyed it.Just know that when you come away from there ..... You will probably be Knackered ...... Due to lifting a shotgun to your shoulder repeatedly and concentrating VERY hard.We left there and went to the Saltwater Cafe for lunch at the end of Laurel as it intersects 41.Great food and nice atmosphere.

This club is fantastic and a great place to shoot clays, either trap, skeet or sporting, they have it all. Open to the public and they have staff which can help you learn to shoot clays safely. Highly recommended!!

This is a private shooting club, used by the law enforcement for training and recreation. They are also open to the public, and there are many disciplines. I shot Trap and it was really busy.The range is situated abut 13 miles outside Sarasota just off the I-75. They are not open every day, so you need to check, but when they are open it is from 09h00 to 21h00.It is not expensive, two rounds of Trap (50 shots) with a hired Shotgun and 50 clays it comes to $38, so I assume a single round of Trap is about $19.I think anyone can shoot there as they asked be if I had shot before, so maybe if you have not the Range Officer (who was super friendly) would assist you.The range is in immaculate condition, and the facilities are top-notch.I love shooting Trap and Skeet (Clay Pigeon) so being able to shoot at this club was the highlight of my visit to Sarasota, if you have never tried it you should, it also adds an exciting option of things you can do in most towns.

Great staff. Knowledgeable all prior military. Well maintained range. Clean facility, easy access off of interstate 75. Very reasonable rates.

Although a private club, it is open to the public, and it is a very nice place to shoot - clean facilities - good hours, and a very friendly and safe place to shoot.

This is a great place to go and have a fun time shooting in the woods. You even get a golf cart to take you through the course. Very laid back atmosphere and they have everything you need. If you are in town for a visit and need a shooting fix this is a great place to go. They also have a range for handguns and such as well.
