h&r trains

My guy loves trains and if he had his way he would own this place for sure. There was a variety of new and old with several different vendors. The staff was very delightful. The outside garden with the train set up was adorable and I might be stealing a few of their ideas for my garden.

This store is devoted strictly to trains. It bills itself as the largest train store in Florida and I can believe it. They carry all gauges of trains. They host train shows where several display are set up as well as educational talks. Don’t expect a convention center type show but for the space they have they make good use of it. Also during the shows they have giveaways. If you like trains it is worth the stop and at least browse the merchandise.

One of the few 'brick & mortar' train stores in the Tampa Bay area, however a quick perusal of their store reveals higher than retail prices on most of their items in stock.
