I am so glad I did this. It was fun and exciting. The trainers were awesome; informative, patient and so friendly. I would definitely recommend trying this!
Very nice staff!Super cool also for beginners, everybody can and should try it!Its a nice place and very nice training! First we tried on the ground and later we did the trapeze in the air! But we were all the time supported by the staff! They always encoureged us to try it!
My daughter celebrated her 8th birthday at the Aerial Trapeze Academy. The place is super safe, and the instructors make it a fun experience. The kids had an amazing time. We will be back!Kristin S.
What an amazing time our family had, best instructors too. Absolutely loved it & want to do it again!!!!!Desiree
My boyfriend's brother gave us a Groupon voucher for this experience over Christmas last year and we couldn't wait to go- although we were nervous and had no idea what to expect. My boyfriend isn't a huge fan of heights, and although I'm nimble and able-bodied, I certainly doubted my abilities as well! When we arrived, which was after a hike I must admit because we live about 45 minutes away, we were surprised it was in the owner's backyard- a very large backyard, but his backyard none-the-less! We were skeptical at first, but even just after meeting Matt and Jennifer, we felt more at ease and were blown away by their professionalism and expertise. They guided us through every step, we felt safe and in excellent hands throughout the entire experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who asks. We had a great time and the trip was well worth it! Safe for kids as well- there was a seasoned 5-year old who flew like a monkey on the trapeze, and we never once were worried for her safety- they took excellent care to ensure she was comfortable and safe. Definitely worth a try if you're on the fence!
Gave a gift certificate to my (daughter 13 yes old ) fit Christmas. She went today with my cousin. Neither had ANY experience what so ever. The weather was not the best ( windy/rainy) but at no time did I feel it was a safety issue. The staff postponed class temporarily when necessary and kept everything wiped down and dry as needed. They both had a great time and can't wait to go again. The instructor was great. Humorous and informative. Within 3 tries the girls were ready for the final pass when they were up and actually got swung by the catcher until they dismounted.... Oh and did I mention they also learned to do backflip dismounts during the trial runs! Amazing amazing class .... take me to the circus!
Heard about this through trip advisor and took my kids ages 10 and 7. My 10 year old daughter loved it. Owners a couple Matt and Jennifer are absurd pros with high quality safety equipment and the experience of apparently 1000s of children safely run and made me feel comfortable with my daughter up there and easily calmed her nerves. A great and memorable time and a fun way to play with the Slomo on my iPhone
My friend and I were vacationing in West Palm Beach from Atlanta and are flying trapeze addicts so we decided to give Aerial Trapeze Academy a try. We were blown away by the experience. Matt and Jennifer were so welcoming and friendly. Because it was chilly the day we came (60 degrees - haha!) they weren't able to get a class together. They knew that we were coming in from out of town and held a class just for my friend and I! They have an amazing teaching style and we just really enjoyed working with them. We'll definitely be back!
My 9 year old daughter received this as a b-day gift from a friend. We did not tell her where she was going since she tends to over-think things and would probably bail-out. When we arrived, her eyes got really big and she said, "I hope I don't have to go up there because I'm afraid of heights." I thought, "oh no...she's not going to do it." She had her 13 year old friend with her and that helped to give her the courage to go for it, but also the staff is AMAZING. They make you feel safe by telling you step by step what you'll be doing. They take all necessary precautions to assure you are safe. There were about 10 people in this class, she was the youngest. It's amazing how people bond together under certain circumstances. They all encouraged each other. The staff does not push you to do more than you are comfortable with. It was a miracle that my daughter even climbed the ladder to the platform (safety rope attached of course), then imagine my surprise when she jumped off (when instructed). She did not do everything that was available but she did a couple jumps and back flips which she was thrilled to complete. The rest of my family wants to do this too now. This is located at a residence but there is plenty of parking, chairs, shade and safety. You'll love the experience!!
The location is a a private residence and family run which I like. There were all different people who came out for the class. The instructors were knowledgeable and fun. It was a great experience even though I was terrible and will not be quitting my day job to join the circus. If you are looking for a new story to tell at work or school it is worth it.
We recently went to a birthday party hosted by Aerial Trapeze and it was nothing short of remarkable. These folks are so good with kids! They all had a blast and had such confidence when they were able to execute real moves just like the instructors! Most unique and fun experience ever!
Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. This was a Happy Birthday gift to our 8yro. What an adventure!! :)Upon arrival we went through introductions and completed a tiny bit of paperwork. Our class turned out to be a mix of beginners and advanced (which meant we had front row seats to some fancier moves :), so we donned our sturdy harness and off we went! The beginners are taken through an orientation of the basic commands you will hear in the air, while practicing on a low bar with the instructors right next to you. Then it's fly or freeze! Up the ladder you climb to the platform where there is another instructor there to change your ladder harness rope to your trapeze harness double rope, and if your nerves haven't already kicked in, this is when it starts. You are standing on the edge of the platform, toes dangling over edge, stretched out holding onto the bar ready to launch! At least that's how I felt, it was countdown to take off and then I was flying through the air!!! Weeeeeeeeeee!!!!! Oh! Right! Listening for commands, back in control again. It was exhilarating. We practiced over and over. Working on timing and learning a new lesson in gravity. :)The goal at the end is to be able to complete a mid-air transfer with a professional catcher. Ours sons goal on the other hand was to do back flips off the bar. Which was fine and they were more than accommodating with his wants. My husband and I were all in. There was something very alluring about actually completing this mid-air transfer. We were SUCCESSFUL!! Matt and Jennifer made something that seemed improbable a reality. They were amazing to spend time with and their passion shines through. Thank you so much for an enjoyable, memorable family day.
We had our son's 7th birthday party here. Matt and Jenn were great and patient with all the kids. Everyone had a great time!! We will definitely be back again.
My 14 year old daughter goes to Aerial Trapeze Academy on a regular basis. It is a great time and very safe. There are safety controls every step of the way; she is hooked up when she climbs the ladder, when she's on the platform and when she is actually flying. There is always someone on the ground who has control of the harness she is hooked up to in case she misses a catch or what not. She really loves flying with Aerial Trapeze Academy and gets a very good workout. There are flyers of all ages there (I've seen age 7 to 63) and everyone has a great time and gets along. It's professional but at the same time, a beautiful and laid back atmosphere. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Showed up and felt welcomed from the beginning..the instructors knew what they were doing and were there every step of the way..Very much an exercise from the beginning but well worth it!Would definitely go back and do it again!
