the fresh market

A beautiful market with the appearance of freshness but if one looks at the ingredients in the baked goods you'll find a different story. Artificial flavors, and unpronounceable ingredients make them a disappointment. However the swordfish steak I purchased was really good, a tad pricy, but really good. The large assortment of coffee beans looked promising too.So in the end I gave it an poor rating for the misleading looks.

Fresh Market has excellent deli, meat, fish and produce but the packaged foods that can be purchased anywhere are considerably more expensive than other supermarkets. I try to avoid buying anything that is available elsewhere.

Fresh is everything! Beautiful produce, meats, fish, etc. The seafool at this particular location was excellent. Sale prices enhanced the value of this excellent quality produce and seafood. The breads and cheeses looked good also. Staff were all friendly and very customer oriented. Even using "take a number" moved quickly and efficiently.

I really enjoyed Fresh Market. The quality of the food was great and the layout of the store was completely opposite of the big chain warehouses. So refreshing. However, the people that were shopping there were extremely rude. I witnessed two exchanges between the staff and the customers. The customers were very disrespectful. The staff handled themselves well. Not sure I would have been able to do that. The upscale store is nice however the upscale customers base would prevent me from going there again.

It ain't cheap but the quality of the groceries and staples, in all departments is worth the price. We are so glad to have them in our community in the Villages.

A variety of wonderful aromas wraps around you as you stroll into Fresh Market. Ahhhh, you sigh, as you wander from one area to another, from fresh flowers to fresh fruits and veggies to fresh seafood and meats...look out for the butcher case...mmmmmm. Oh, and don't miss the incredible selections at both the "deli" area and in the bakery area...wow! Well, you get the picture - come in hungry and leave "satisfied" that you will eat well soon. Truly a great market and shopping experience!

This is the place to go if you want fresh food - from fruit, vegetables, poultry, fish, beef.... and even escargot. A large assortment of food stuffs that will boggle you mind. But, the prices are sort of on the high side as compared to the local grocery stores. Not the store to buy Bud Lite.

Great market with a selection even the great chefs would enjoy. Produce and meats and fish are top quality. Try the fresh sushi as dinner. Wonderful.

Fresh Market has the best of both worlds. It has fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, fresh meat, fresh juices, and it has the sanitary qualities of an inside super market. The employees at the Fresh Market in The Villages are super friendly and helpful. I would recommend this store for anyone looking for a combination meat market, fruit market, deli, pastries, and a few groceries, all inside, clean, air conditioned, comfortable, with friendly down home service. O yes, they also have a few cut flowers and live plants.

This is the closest our area comes to Whole Foods. It is pricey but has a fabulous deli section, meat & fish section and bakery. Branded packaged items are way over priced.

Naturally, you pay for what you get, but you can find great fresh and healthy choices for everyone. Convenient and located off streets and golf cart lanes. Try it.

I enjoy shopping at the Fresh Market for the fresh organic produce and seafood. They have international selections and unique items that I can find only there.

They definetly have the best selection of fresh food around, but expensive. Their sales are awesome. Tuesdays they have 2.99 a lb chicken breasts. You can not get that anywhere. And the quality of chicken is the best around. Everything we have had there is delicious. They have regular sales weekly. This is worth checking out. They also have friendly employees and a lot of sampling events. Don't miss the next one!

Wow, I wish we had a Fresh Market. This is a combination specialty, gourmet store. The produce was fresh and they had a lot of unusual item. I thought the prices were very reasonable. The meat department was outstanding and the prices reflected this! They have quite a large selection of pre-made dinner items for you to purchase and take home to cook. Nice selections of cheese and a large selection of craft beer.

Visiting from out of town without a wholefoods nearby, this is the place to shop for that speciality item and everything else. Excellent produce, meat and cheese departments and wonderful wine selections.
