Imagine siting outside under the stars, listening to your favorite performer (that would be James Taylor!!!), feeling the ocean breeze and music wash over you under the arching arms of century old Live Oak trees, all the while being hypnotized my the lights of the near by St. Augustine Light House. Sound perfect? Well, it is. after the updating renovations, his is he perfect music venue. The acrostics are superb, seating comfortable (not a bad seat in the house), and parking adequate. It just doesn't get better than this. Tip #1 Get there early, walk around and soak it all in. This is life at the beach.Tip #2. Park next door at the Elks Club. It helps them out, and gives you quick access, in and out. Tip #3. "Like" St. Augustine Amphitheater on Facebook to stay up to date on all there concerts...they have some great ones.

Have been to several concerts here. You have a good view of the stage no matter where you sit. Love the venue.

Awesome venue! Not a bad seat anywhere. It's smaller than other amphitheaters I've been to which was a huge bonus. It's clean, feels safe, and it is well maintained. The staff were everywhere and they were happy to be there and helpful. Even when you're seated it's a good show with a perfect view. We want to return soon! We will be watching to see upcoming events that are specifically here. Parking was near for $10. It was a nice walk with sidewalks and officers directing a1a traffic just for concert viewers. A++

Great venue, but not enough parking. Had to park next door and almost did not get a parking space there. Saw plenty of spaces available when we walked in. Looked like you had to buy a special ticket for this parking.

Love the venue! Outside but mostly covered with an umbrella-type structure. Unless you are only the far outside edge or up top, you won't get wet. Did take a little while to get thru the line due to them checking purses, but that's to be expected. Have been there many times and really love the feel of the venue.

Just about every seat in the amphitheater has a good view of the stage. We went to a Phillip Phillips concert and I believe the stadium holds around 3700 people. It was filled but not too crowded to get around. Parking was easy as we got there an hour earlier. Be advised that parking in their lot costs $10.00 but that is to be expected. The acoustics are fantastic. The employees are very helpful and can easily answer any question you might have as well as helping you to find the correct seat. I live about 70 miles from Tampa and Orlando and cannot stand the traffic or the crowds at their venues. I traveled 2 3/4 hours to go see this artist and will definitely seek out more entertainment at this venue in the future. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the seating is very close. I sat next to a man who was fairly large and I was uncomfortable and squished in my seat so I stood up. Even with people standing, the view is really awesome.

This place rocks. I have seen many concerts at many venues and this is simply the best. Not a bad seat in the house. Check out Mojos Tacos and grab a rum runner before the show, perfect!

If you love music, live performance and a beautiful outdoor amphitheater...you have to Google the St Augustine Amphitheater and view their upcoming concert lineup. St Augustine is a great getaway for a weekend to see a live concert, stay in a affordable hotel or B&B and eat at one of our great restaurants. The renovation, initiated by ex City Commissioner John Reardon and designed by Les Thomas, from European design, offers the best acoustics anywhere in the US! Again Google the Amphitheater and save it in your favorites. Consider joining FOSAA - the Friends of the St Augustine Amphitheater to get early seating deals!

This is a great place to see a show - no real bad seat in the house. We have been everywhere from the pit to the last row and it's all good. Head's up, there is a noise ordinance in place in St. Augustine so all shows end by 10pm...which also means they usually start on time. Great parking lot for tailgating, but it does fill up - the Legions Lodge next door offers parking as well as many of the local neighbors - all for a small fee!

This is a comfortable outdoor venue right next to a state park with a campground. Keep in mind that it can be rather warm since it is outdoors. Accoustics are good. It is easy to get to and to park. Drink concessions are available.

I have been here a number of times. It is well designed and accessible and attracts many major performers.

This is a wonderful farmers market. It is geared to locals, organic. It does have local artists with some unique wares. Music every week, path is mostly covered by trees. Fun , lots of parking, family oriented.

norak88

Go here for the farmers market but the place has concerts often. Great place to hear a band and have a couple of drinks.

If you love concerts you will LOVE the St. Augustine Amphitheater. Diverse music venue, that is intimate with some of the best up and coming artists as well as the classics (Dylan, Ringo Star, Bonnie Raitt) It is hot in the Summer, so be prepared.
