Came for a free noon organ concert stayed while admiring the artful architecture. Amazing that this was built in less than a year.

After visiting Flagler College visitors should walk the block to the Memorial Presbyterian Church behind the college. Here Flagler put his money into a beautiful memorial to his daughter who died in childbirth. Later, he was buried there. It is a beautiful church with a magnificent dome and stunning stained glass windows. Pick up the self-guided tour brochure when you enter, wander around, take pictures or just sit and take in the majesty of this church.

Of all the places we visited in St. Augustine this was by the far the most incredible place. Its rich in history, built in memory of Mr. Flagler's daughter. The architectural in this church is simply stunning. The gardens outside are very manicured and peaceful. The visit is free but the church ask for a $1.00 per person. The docent answered questions and gave us lots of information about the church and history. There is also a few items for sale. Don't miss this experience if you are in the area.

Well worth getting off the beaten path and out of the sun. Might not be interesting for kids. Wish we had been there for a Wednesday morning concert. I believe they are free.

Built in memory of Mr.Flagler daughter Jennie Louise. Kind of Renaissance Revival style with many simillarites to venetian St. Mark Basilica.Resting place for Henry Flagler and the closest family members.

Worth a stop. Beautiful detail. The stained glass is gorgeous. Self guided tour with a docent inside to answer questions. It's free but they ask for a $1 per person donation. The courtyards and gardens outside are very pretty and peaceful. Take a walk around outside as you leave.

If you're in the neighborhood walk by this old church. If you have a little extra time take a look at the interior. It's relatively plain so it won't take too long.

The architecture and beautiful interior of the church were very impressive. Beautiful stained glass windows line the outer walls. The pipe organ and carved pulpit remind us of the old European cathedrals with their ornate interiors. This is one of several churches built by the wealth of Mr. Henry M. Flagler, co-founder of Standard Oil Company. The docent tells many interesting facts about Mr. Flagler and his family who are buried on the grounds of this church.

The crosses hanging from the ceiling are gorgeous! The wood and great history is well worth the time. It is a very sacred place, not just a beautiful place.

Amazing history of the Flagler family. What a loving gift after the loss of his daughter. It is so peaceful there. You can just move through out the church yourself, there is a steward there to answer questions. The mahogany and carvings are jaw dropping. It's also free to the public.

Amazing piece of 19th century architecture where money was not a barrier. Henry Flagler built this in memory of his daughter who died shortly after childbirth.It has a very large pipe organ. Worth the visit.

Henry Flagler spared no expense to build this memorial to his daughter and granddaughter. Take the tour and you'll learn about Flagler as well as about this church.

This church is beautiful, especially the color of the ceiling and the dome. The docent could only give us a quick history because the organist was practicing for future Lenten services. What a special treat to hear the organ music!

This site was well worth the stop. This church built as a burial place for Mr. Flagler's daughter. It is beautiful. The self guided tour through the church was informational and interesting. We were fortunate enough to hear the musicians practicing on the enormous pipe organ, that was a special and unexpected.

This is a beautiful church that Henry Flagler had built in about a year to honor his daughter and granddaughter who both died in childbirth. The docent said the baby is buried with her mother. Flagler and his first wife (he had 3) are buried there, also. The church has some striking features and grounds worth walking around. Enjoyed the history of this church. No fee to enter, but a small donation is requested.
