美丽的海滩区!真希望我们有更多的时间,可以去周边地区。因为真的是太漂亮了!我们只是路过,在那儿过了一夜,但是在那短短的时间里,很享受那种美。希望以后还有机会再去,去看看那里的商店什么的。

费南迪纳海滩很美。公共区域内的一个小区域有四轮车可以拉你到特定的区域。我们发现许多都不是四轮车,并且许多人忽略标牌而向水边驶去。出于这个原因,我给了它四分。你可以向北或向南步行,可以发现很少动且美丽的沙滩。许多佛罗里达州海滩上的人群都不在这里,这就是我为什么喜欢这片海滩。准备好置身于大西洋的微风中吧......当天热时这感觉很不错的。

我们爱死费南迪滩和阿米利亚岛了!这里有各色景点,包括古朴典雅的闹市区和历史街区,还有伊根地河林荫道,当然还有超棒的琪堡州立公园,每个人都能找到自己喜欢的。如果你喜欢散步,那你可以散很长的一段路了,路上还可以欣赏到维多利亚式的建筑、西班牙式的长满苔藓的树,在沙滩上有好多鹈鹕和海鸥,还有长长的木板小道。这里真是值得一去的好地方!

非常棒的海滩。你可以直接开车到海滩上,然后在海滩上享受美好的一天。卫生间和淋浴室就在我们后面,因此如有需要,走之前还可以冲个凉。孩子们玩得很开心。带些食物,在海滩上就可以烧烤,所以带些烤肉或野餐便当,那里没有实物可以买。这里是家庭休闲娱乐的好去处,而且可以享用各种形式的野餐。

这个地方非常可爱迷人,是阿米莉亚岛屿的小城镇。我们从游客中心开始,这里真是一个提供咨询和活动项目介绍的好地方。大家可以顺着街道看见美丽的维多利亚建筑,这里提供的晚餐非常棒,适合全家老小共同享用。这附近还有许多小店适合购物买东西。这里有些商店特别适合买小孩子的婴儿儿童用品,有些商店特别适合购买户外野外露营的用品用具。这里可以买到各种适合户外攀岩攀登爬山登山的装备用具用品和衣着等,还同样能买到各种适合潜水跳水划水和水下水底活动运动的各种装备设备,非常齐全,真心很给力。这里还能买到一些海洋水上用品比如渔船等。这里还提供一些适合骑马的马具用品,还有一些是专美为一些特别的出行旅游设计提供的道具。这里有一个历史博物馆,给人一种完全不一样的感觉。

It seems that the economy has hit FB hard as there were some visible restaurant closures in the historic center, but overall this is a nice day out visiting beautiful old homes, nice cafes on the side streets (See my Hola! Cuban cafe review) and especially the pristine and long beach that fringes the area. Flocks of terns in flight and lots of shelling on a hot February day=bliss. We will return!

As an experienced rider, I didn't want to follow meekly at a walk behind a line of horses. I found Ride the Beaches of Amelia Island Horseback Riding online, and when I read that they catered to each rider's level of experience, I immediately booked a ride. It was absolutely fantastic! Not only was I not limited to a walk, I got to canter along the beach. The horse was well-mannered, obviously loved and taken care of. The owner, Debbie, was friendly and really enjoyed her job. Getting in touch with her was easy. She even took photos of me riding and texted them to me. I shared a ride with two beginners, and I think we all had a great time (although I wish it could have been an all day ride!). I wish I could have done it every day of my visit. If I'm ever on the island again, I will definitely give her a call!

Great little shop that is not the average souvenir joint.The owner also does boat tours around Cumberland Island and is not to be missed!Colorful, in a word.Inventory could be increased.

unlike many overly commercial beaches, this is still a clean, family beach. Fernandina has worked hard to improve accessibility, proving a concrete path along the edge of the dunes and in one location a wheelchair viewing area that gives a clear view of the ocean itself. My companion enjoyed looking for shells after the tide and we both enjoyed following the lighted walkway.Last night was a full moon so we had the bonus of watching the moon rise and shining a path across the waves. We are at the main beach which has parking, benches, playground, restrooms, outdoor showers and other amenities. There is a surf shop across the street and a few restaurants but otherwise the area is mostly residences and motels. The beach itself seems to be very well maintained and was clean. There were seniors, young surfers, families with children and couples all enjoying the space with sea gulls and smaller beach birds. This has been a great vacation and is very much like the beach trips I remember from childhood.

Wow! We cannot say enough good things about Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island. The beaches are beautiful. Not crowded at all and you can walk from one end of the island to the other, if you don't mind walking 13 miles! The historic downtown was beautiful and easily walkable. The local people are incredibly friendly and almost every establishment is dog friendly. We loved it and cannot wait to go back!

We discovered the beauty and peaceful atmosphere, while taking the A1A scenic route, back from St. Augustine, some years back. Even on the Fourth of July, I have never dealt with any traffic problems like in Jax Beach, Panama City Beach, or wherever. Nice family friendly, quite, peaceful summer getaway.

Beautiful beach! Clean and not too crowded.Sand is pretty and white. Waves great for play....big enough but not too rough. Great surrounding area for enjoyment when you are ready to get off the beach.

From California, between a FSU graduation and an Atlanta wedding, Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach was a great December respite. The beach town is a very nice quaint little village with great shopping and restaurants - not at all snooty. Amelia Island is a comfortable Atlantic Coast location with a variety of residents and beachy attractions - bars, fishing, kayaking, hang gliding, horseback riding, parks, museums, cruises, golf and more. I want to go back.

Escape the crowds and gets a bird's eye view of the island. Experienced pilot takes you on a safe flight. Glider is powered by an engine and has a back up engine just in case.

What a great time for 2 gals with their cameras. We spent an entire day wandering the streets finding strength in lighting.
