I live here local and I probably go on the sunset dolphin cruise more than anyone should.Free beer and wine, the sunset, dophins and great people! What more do you need?! I've also done the fishing charters a couple of times. The team of people that work here are unbeatable!!! Liv, Lani, Jack, Jeanne.....I just love these guys!!! I have NEVER had a bad experience or a bad time. Everyone always goes out of their way to ensure you have a great time. I'll be seeing you guys again soon :) thanks for everything!

The dolphin cruise was a great way to enjoy some time out on the water and see some dolphins in their natural habitat. We saw dolphins right away and were able to see lots of them as we progressed along. The crew seemed very knowledgeable and also pointed out lots of things in the area. If you don't see any dolphins, you get a second dolphin tour for free to try again. Keep your cruise tickets handy because you can use them for discounts at certain stores at John's Pass.

We are disappointed to hear you had a poor experience on the water around Hubbard's marina. We would be more than happy to discuss this further with you in detail. Our large passenger carrying vessels are restricted on maneuverability inside the constricted pass, and smaller vessels are typically the breakaway vessels especially after we hail the JP bridge according to USCG laws. We would be happy to tell you more about the captain and the laws that govern our boats movements. We are disappointed you feel so hurt, the owner Captain Mark Hubbard would love an opportunity to talk to you further. Please reach out to us at (727)393-1947 ext 306 or shoot us an email to info@hubbardsmarina.com We would also happily give you the USCG commander's number locally so you can confirm our safe operation.

Great to hear you enjoyed the prices and our cruises at Hubbard's Marina. We have been dolphin watching and cruising local waters since 1928 when our company invented dolphin watching in the entire state of Florida. Our dolphin watching nature cruise and eco tour does guarantee dolphin sightings, but the sunset cruise guarantees free beer and wine. However, if you drink enough of that then theres no telling what you will see! The only reason we can't guarantee sightings on the sunset cruise is due to the different route we take while cruising. The route differs to ensure we get a great view of the sunset! Hope you plan to return to see us again at Hubbard's Marina!

There is nothing in the world like going out into the open Gulf and watching the sun set over the horizon and fade into the water. The sunset cruise at Hubbard's Marina is one of the best ways to do so. Better yet is free beer and white wine as you cruise through St. John's Pass and Blind Pass. We had guests from Michigan visiting and it was the highlight of our day. The Captain and the barkeeper were very entertaining as well. I highly recommend it...we plan to do it again the next time friends are visiting.

So happy to hear you enjoyed your visit to Hubbard's Marina and even more happy to hear that you were impressed by our guest service. Our number one goal is excellent client experience with even better guest service! Really happy to hear you experienced nothing less, and even more satisfied to hear you enjoyed the fully narrated cruise!

Amen to that! We LOVE to eat the fresh fish cooked up at the restaurant... the cajun fried is the BEST! The half day is a great way to spend the morning and that fresh snapper cooked in the restaurant for lunch or dinner is the perfect way to end a great day on the water. Also very cool to show your kids the process from baiting the hook, reeling them in, cleaning the fish, and then cooking them! Nothing beats watching the next generation getting 'hooked' on fishing!

Went on a half day trip. Even though the boat had a lot of people it was fun. Two of the 3 couples were not sure of going, but now say next time go a whole day. Lots of fish caught, and Dusty and Smokey were always around to help with bait, identifying fish, untangling, putting fish on ice. If the boat stopped to fish and they weren't biting the captain moved to another place. We bought the meal pkg and enjoyed our choice of what sandwiches/burgers were available. The crew, including captain, fileted our fish, then we took it to the restaurant where it was cooked for us. The captain grabbed a pelican at the dock to remove a string that was around its leg. The crew obviously likes their jobs and likes making sure everyone is having a good time. We will go back.

We visited here for a Segway rental and tour. An extensive training video and then hands on in the parking lot before our guide announced us ready to roll. Our young fellow was full of knowledge and stopped on numerous occasions to fill us in on the history surrounding us. The tour took us over the causeway to Treasure Island and a beautiful paved walking path that ran 2 miles or so on the beach and was a great place to Seg on. We were more than satisfied with our tour.

For Valentines day this year (2015) we took our families on a 1/2 day fishing trip, was the early morning start. It was a cool day, but fun was had by all. We had a diverse group with a young boy, 3 teenage girls, and 3 adults. All caught a good number of fish (red and grey snappers and others I can't name), one even caught a Grouper.. The crew was wonderful, always there and ready to help. The cook took great care of us, the food and coffee just what we needed first thing in the morning. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone. We even had dolphins following us as we were leaving the marina, so yes a great morning.

Had a great time on the dolphin day cruise. Seen several dolphins. Take your own drinks and snacks, but dont buy the photo they take of you, its $20.

Here's where the events, sights and food are. Try these: Dolphin watch, Friendly Fisherman restaurant and Waltz Fish Shak restaurant.

While visiting family in Tampa I wanted to go fishing. We checked a few bottom fishing charters in Tampa and their reviews. I must say that some of the reviews we read for Hubbard's Marina was not favorable but decided to go ahead and give them a shot because they were the only one that would reserve certain spots on the boat (10 hour fishing trip). There were four of us including my 79 year old father. Well I have to report that this was an Awesome Trip with no problems whatsoever. The boat was clean and the gear was in tip top shape. The crew was very knowledgeable and was on top of their game. Our crew member "Mark" was everywhere, making sure hooks were good, bait was flowing and showed several techniques on how to catch more fish and made everyone laugh and enjoy our time. The seas were a little rough 4’-6' but everything still went well and we caught a boat load of fish. Only thing I didn’t like was that we could not bring our phones to take pictures because they didn’t want someone marking with GPS the fishing locations, so if you want pictures of your trip make sure you bring a separate camera. I will be recommending Hubbard's Marina to my Friends and Family - Two Thumbs up !!- Ed from Wisconsin

We went on the 8-1 morning deep sea fishing cruise. The trip was well-organized, the food plentiful, the fish biting, and it was a great little excursion. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Recommended.
